I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in. It was a little over $12 for all I could eat. Believe me, there was plenty to eat and it was fresh and hot and tasty. I am new to Monroe but can guarantee you this will be a place I will visit often. These pictures are for my granddaughter who loves sushi. I was too busy eating the normal things plus some of the Americanized dishes. I was pleasantly surprised at how many variations of chicken and pork they had but most of all I loved the vegetables every which way they were prepared. I even tried the seaweed salad. It was pretty good!

The food is stirred often to stay warm and they kept making more when something was low. Nothing was out of stock.
Staff’s professionality added great value to the already affordable and delicious dishes they serve. From special dishes to desserts and fruits, everything look and tasted fresh, and I will definitively return to this family owned business.

We were surprised when we visited this restaurant. The food was very good and the prices were extremely reasonable, for a couple cost less than $30

Ordered carryout on Christmas Day and I received the wrong food. I got orange chicken by mistake but the person I was with ordered it and mine didn’t even have the oranges in it so I’m not quite sure how that happened. I called and they did replace my meal with the correct one a couple days later but I really did enjoy it as much as I have in the past. Everyone was really nice, the staff was really awesome but I just really didn’t enjoy the food and I don’t think I’m going to be going back soon

I’ve been in there eating many times no problems order a DoorDash order they refuse to give my DoorDasher my food so now he’s going back there after bringing me part of my DoorDash order to go get the rest. He even showed them his phone and everything tried contacting me and they still wouldn’t release it to him. I did a double dash and got 7/11 with rice and shine and it’s been over a hour of my driver being tortured

Very good experience at this place. You just can’t beat an all-you-can-eat buffet for $15. There variety is quite impressive. And it is all hot and clean.
There is a wide range of Chinese food, including sweet ‘n’ sour chicken, crab Rangoon, sesame chicken and other Chinese staples. But there is also a good selection of Korean food, such as hibachi chicken and kimchi. There was even sushi, which was a pleasant surprise. They had a good selection of dessert too that I did not try.
Overall, I would definitely return to this place. I’ve been to many Asian buffets that are not clean and the food is flavorless. Rice and Shine is certainly not one of those places. It is very good and worth giving a try.

I really like being able to stop in and fill up a “to-go” box. They have pretty decent food. The green beans and hibachi chicken are my favorites lately. I do wish their coconut shrimp wasn’t so dry. Tonight I got delivery for the first time and got a HUGE amount of food. I ordered Hibachi chicken, chicken and broccoli, and veggie fried rice. I also ordered egg drop soup and dumplings. I wish they offered veggies (maybe green beans or mushrooms) as a side instead of rice or noodles. Also, I did not like the “secret sauce” that came with the dumplings. There was no soy sauce in the bag, but luckily I have some at home. Soup is average. Kind of wish I got a fortune cookie

I’m not picky when it comes to buffet style places. You can’t expect the greatest of quality. But sadly this place has dipped below expectations and has seemed to skimp even more than previously. They used to be a three star but profit is more important and apparent when sampling the dishes they serve now. Used to be better.
Also something to note. Watch your bill. I added two soft drinks and a water. They added $20 to the total. I didn’t notice it until after I had already left. Everyone in my party was disappointed and I I got stuck with the bill and regret.
Avoid it.
