Have eaten at east for years their buffet is one of great choices that taste good , the only downside is your timing of going to eat i.e. meaning that in downtimes the buffet gets a little less than desirable, but when they start cooking the fresh food and it’s hot and just put out on the bar, it is one of the best in Birmingham and surrounding areas including all of those large buffets that has tons of things that just really know more than taste all the same east buffet always has good flavor in each different type of dish and also reasonably priced.

I went here to get food because I’m pregnant and wanted Chinese food. The roaches beat me to it. There was a bug openly just crawling on the sushi and the rice was absolutely expired. Ill be reporting this business to the health department. I recommend not eating here. Asked for a refund I only had a few bites of my food because the rice was rancid. Then I saw the bugs. Disgusting establishment. They said no to the refund. I didn’t even eat. Smh

Reasonably priced Chinese and sushi in a convenient spot. Food is always a win. The atmosphere is as to be expected in an all you can eat buffet but it is clean with good service. Also offer to-go off menu or off the buffet.

It was a quiet night on the evening I ate there. It has a spacious dining hall, the food was fresh and I really enjoyed myself. The food there is what you would typically expect at an Asian buffet, but the sushi was something different (delicious). They also have different types of desserts to choose from. Can’t stop this review without saying how polite the man working was. I really enjoyed my dinner here and will return.

Ok it’s a little run down to look at. But sincerely really really good food! Constantly bringing fresh @ hot food. Excellent soup. I have NO food complaints. The family running the place is SO kind and friendly fly. If you’ve been here before I’d say give it another try! We were very pleasantly surprised

Expensive and not even worth it. Barely any salads and barely anything there really sushi is old and falling apart. Place is not clean just the worst 35.74$ I spent couldn’t even eat anything and the cups where we got our drink were dirty! DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY HERE.

So… I would have given this a 4 start but due to the uncalled for negativity I felt the need to counter the previous 1 star
I’ll explain, only because of presentation, I would have lowered the review, even then in our (no one wants a job) society, it’s really hard to find help much less good help. The food was absolutely delicious though… great flavor along with the right mix of seasoning. Not too overpowering but just right. This place has no reason for anything less than 4 stars and the gentleman at the front was super nice and helpful. Just to be clear supporting a small jem like this is super important because the price in our economy makes me wonder how they can afford to stay open. Point is eating here was a great choice
