We visited Texas Roadhouse last night as a family and overall, the food was pretty good. On what seemed to be a busy night, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated, which wasn’t bad at all. The bread came out warm, sweet, and soft. I personally prefer regular butter, but my boyfriend loved the cinnamon butter that came with it. Even my picky daughter enjoyed the bread, so that was a great start.

Where things fell short was the service. Our server’s attitude and facial expressions were noticeably off. When I asked for my steak, he wide-eyed me as if to say “and?” instead of simply asking how I’d like it cooked — which most servers automatically do. This happened right after he clapped at me while I was deciding on my drink, so the combination of the clap and the eye bulge already had me considering requesting a new waiter, something I’ve never thought of doing before. But the last straw was when we ordered an extra mac and cheese and he passed it mid-air while still walking, almost like we were supposed to catch it.

We were seated right in front of what looked like the order screen, and he spent a good amount of time standing there talking, so I truly don’t understand why the mac and cheese couldn’t just be placed on the table. It all just came across as unprofessional.

On the bright side, the person who initially brought our food out was great, and a manager (I think) came by to check on us, which we appreciated.

Now about the food
The macaroni and cheese was an absolute hit — so delicious that my daughter asked for seconds. All the sides were tasty! My boyfriend had the T-bone steak with mac and cheese and a loaded baked potato, and he really enjoyed his meal. I had the 8-ounce sirloin with ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn. The steak could have used a bit more seasoning, they were out of A1, and the ribs were a little dry and could’ve used more barbecue sauce — but overall, the food was still good enough that we’d consider returning. For the three of us, the bill was about $100 before tip, which felt affordable considering everything we ordered.

Overall: the food was good, my boyfriend really enjoyed his meal, but the service definitely needs improvement. I’d return, but I hope the experience is smoother next time. And if I happened to have the same waiter again, I’d ask to be seated with someone else.

This is for a visit at dinnertime however a very early dinner at 4:30pm. Why 4:30? Not because we’re old (well not entirely) but because if you go at normal dinnertime, the place is loud, very loud to the point you can barely hear talking to your table mates. The acoustic design is absolutely horrible, it can’t handle a full house with people talking, kids screaming, etc. This was a perfect time to arrive.

The restaurant was mostly quiet, we were sat quickly and our server appeared right away {thank you 4:30). The rolls were fresh and given to us immediately. No peanuts were in the pail, seems you may have to ask for them now.

They have a pretty good deal for early bird dinner, we ordered off of that menu section. We ordered the 6oz sirloin and the BBQ chicken.

Our server was very attentive, the food came out fairly quickly and was cooked appropriately.

The restaurant was clean and parking was not an issue (again, TY 4:30).

It doesn’t seem they have the payment kiosks working at the tables which was fine. The bill was calculated correctly, no tip calculation “push” so you could freely pick your own %.

Overall a good experience because (did I mention?) we arrived at 4:30pm. Because of the noise and slower service (mostly the noise) at regular dinnertime, we would never go at that time.

My family and I went to Texas Roadhouse on Sunday November 16th. The service was awful. We waited on our food for about 45 minutes, for it to come out incorrect. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. When the meal came out it was some sort of fried beef and no mashed potatoes. When I inquired I was told sorry let me go get them. He came back and stated” we are out of mashed potatoes. I then told him about the beef that was on my plate floating in oil. My niece ordered the grilled shrimp and was told after the fact they were also out of Mac and cheese. My daughter ordered the kids steak bites that were burnt beyond recognition. Saying all this to say this was the worst customer experience I have had in a long time. The manager did come out and offer to get me the correct order. When she did bring it out it was also floating in oil. By that time I was just over it. She stated she would take it off the bill and just walked away. I will never visit this location again.

Update 5/2025 – visited for lunch. The food was great, and our server Ethan was excellent. Always great food. Went back the next day just to see Courtney again. The next time, after that, we had Alyssa. Both of these servers are wonderful and would go back just because of the service. Yet, we also had great food and enjoyed the atmosphere, too. My husband’s Ribeye steak was cooked exactly how he requested, and it tasted very good. I have had the sirloin, and it is good too. Love the rolls and the baked potatoes. It is nice that every year, they give you coupons for Veteran’s Day. The kids loved the hot chocolate!

Very busy saturday night! I got my usual, 12oz ribeye and shrimp combo with loaded potato, green beans and brown gravy on the side. My shrimp were overcooked but the amazing service from our gentle giant server, Marshall, made up for anything lacking. He totally made a really chaotic restaurant feel like home. Thank you Marshall!

Food was delicious.. had Valentines Special combo meal. Sports Bar atmosphere, was loud and noisy. Very busy place. Servers did their best in the chaos. Not the best seats, lots of people walking by to get to their seats. Usually have more privacy.

So, usually, I wait two days to review a place.

However, this restaurant I know it was a Great experience from entering the parking lot into the lobby

Lots of parking easy accessibility. Well, lit.

Lots of seating and Great Atmosphere.

Easy menu and very affordable.

Lots of T.Vs and Excellent bar.

The layout is extremely better than other.T.R’s. Lots of space.

The food is amazing, and Tasty.

However, the service was in the top 5 in the nation for me.

From servers, greeters, staff, and Management were all top-notch.

Kid friendly

Extremely highly recommended!

Stopped here for dinner with the grands while traveling. Customer service is spot on! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We happened to be there on a Tuesday, which is apparently their kids’ night.
Our waitress, Haven, was very attentive and friendly.

After starting with a fried pickle appetizer, we ordered a hotdog with applesauce for the 3 year old and mini cheese burger double with steak fries for the 7 year old. The adult had 8 oz salmon, veggies, house salad, and shrimp. The food was absolutely delicious.

Why did I give them 4 stars? The food was far too hot when it was served for it to be most enjoyable on the palate. The hotdog was too hot for one to hold, let alone bite into. The fries burned the 7 year old’s tongue. After distracting them for several minutes, I was able to let them eat.

Overall, it is a great place to eat and is across the street from Springhill Suites.
