I went to Firefly Grill in Chesterfield MO today. The ambiance was so quaint and cozy. I had the sweet and tangy salad with grilled chicken. It was so flavorful and perfect for lunch. My waiter was Kyle and he was so attentive, always made sure my drink was full and got my order out quick and accurately. I will be back!

It was couples night, and a first visit to Firefly for me. Kyle was fabulous in every way, thank you Kyle! We got their spicy queso and chips–honestly I think it is the best I’ve ever had. The chips seem like a thin version of pita chips and they were delectable! The queso was perfect consistency and heat. I spoiled my appetite by eating too much of it all lol. My entree was the wedge salad with added grilled chicken. Their small size was dinner sized imo; it was very good however the chicken was a little dry. The watermelon basil martini is a 10/10–unique and unexpectedly delicious. The place was bustling on a Saturday night – love how the tables aren’t crammed together. Can’t wait to return!

Met a friend at Firefly tonight and everything was excellent. The loaded Brussels sprouts were amazing, the bruschetta was delicious, and the spicy margarita was a winner. Natalya took great care of us and the place was busy all night. Always nice to find a spot that gets both the food and service right. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely place. They have a great patio area outside to eat at for lunch. They have some combinations that you can get where you pick two things for $17.I opted for that and selected the firefly salad with a half of a chopped cheese sandwich. The salad was a typical salad served with egg, cucumbers, cheddar cheese, and croutons. The sandwich was braised beef, caramelized, shallots, pimento cheese on a sourdough bread. They basically took all of the ingredients and mixed it all together and spread it on the bread. It was different, good, but it felt like it was lacking something maybe it needed some lettuce or something on it. Anyhow, was happy I tried it. My friend got the hot Italian sandwich and it looks pretty amazing. I would recommend that.

Smashburger came with two patties and cheese but was not greasy. Chicken Philly had a good flavor with the chicken being marinated. The Mac and Cheese was baked with cheddar and breadcrumbs on top of it. The cheese sauce was slightly spicy but not as much as if it was nacho cheese. The decor, atmosphere, and service was all very good! We will try the pork chops next time!

Went here for the first time today and it was amazing! I will definitely be coming back. We had the bruschetta for the appetizer (which was 10/10) and I got the Pick Any Two combo with the Salmon BLT & Hot Italian Sandwiches. Both were great! I also got some wine but didn’t get a pic before a few sips!

West County has spoken, and Firefly Grill STL takes the crown for Best Happy Hour! So, of course, we had to celebrate the win the right way—by heading over for Happy Hour on their beautiful patio! ☀️ (You can find the poll on the West County Social Facebook group)
Happy Hour runs Tuesday – Friday, 2-6 PM
For our first round of drinks, we kicked things off with a Firefly Margarita and a Blue Moon Draft, both part of their Happy Hour specials:

$1 off Drafts
To start, we ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which came with a variety of fresh, crisp vegetables, tortilla chips, and crostini rounds that were absolutely delicious. Everything was perfectly balanced—not too salty, just the right crunch, and packed with flavor.
For our main dish, we went all in with the Meat Lover’s Pizza, loaded with hamburger, pepperoni, and salami and bacon. This pizza was cooked perfect and quite frankly, blew us away! During Happy Hour all pizzas are $3 off!!
Then, for round two, we went with springtime perfection in a glass:
Strawberry Basil Margarita – Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime Basil Sour Mix, Strawberry Purée, garnished with a sugar rim and fresh strawberries.
Sparkling Strawberry Sangria – A refreshing blend of Sparkling Rosé, Strawberry Vodka, fresh Strawberry Slices, topped with a splash of Sprite.
These drinks were light, fresh, and absolutely perfect for a warm patio day. Highly, highly recommend!
To top it all off, our waitress Stevie was incredible, providing excellent service and making sure our experience was top-notch.

Wednesday at 530 all bar seats taken but it is a smaller bar. Fun atmosphere with middle aged people mostly.
We sat in dining room, fire lit, tables available. A bit noisy but not too bad. Great service. Quick, friendly, polite. I didn’t care for the firefly pizza w sciracha but my partner’s steak dinner was great. Ceasar sald was great. Wine was vg and inexpensive. We look forward to going back!

The only thing I genuinely enjoyed were the oyster crackers from the bag—and that’s not a good sign.
Our server recommended the potato soup and the hot Italian sandwich, so I gave them a try. Both were a big disappointment.
The potato soup had undercooked potatoes, a thin, watery broth, and almost no flavor. The hot Italian sandwich was another miss. The meat was chopped, which wasn’t mentioned in the menu description, and it threw off the whole texture and feel of the sandwich.
To make things worse, our server seemed much more focused on the outdoor tables. We were left feeling ignored inside and didn’t get much follow-up after the food arrived.
Between the lackluster food and inattentive service, it’s hard to recommend this spot. I won’t be back.
