Duffy’s is a simple, yet good, pizzeria. The restaurant itself is small, consisting of only three tables capable of seating four people each, and two smaller tables capable of seating two people each. The decor is also poorly coordinated. The waitress was very friendly though, and you actually watch the cook carrying in wood from outside to feed the fire in the brick oven. The menu options are slim, including for the pizza itself and its available toppings. Everything’s well-priced though. $10 for a 6″ pizza, $20 for a 12″ pizza. The pizza itself is also simple, yet delicious. The outer crust is is crisp and perfect, with a slight char. However, the inner crust nearing the center of the pizza is rather soggy, and floppy. The sauce is perfect. The mozzarella is perfect. It’s definitely not one of the best pizzas I’ve had, but it’s far better than anything Dominoes and Papa John’s has to offer.

I am from South Jersey so I’m use to eating REAL pizza… not the nasty pizza hut or domino’s. When I first came to Fort Polk I was pregnant and wanted real pizza and found DUFFY’S! BEST PIZZA IN LEESVILLE!!! LOVE IT!!! The only negative thing I have to say about it is that they do not have the wax paper to go in the boxes so sometimes the pizza cheese will get stuck on the cardboard and come off of the pizza.
