I’m so glad we found this hole in the wall restaurant.
I don’t think I’ve had a cheeseburger that was as delicious since my grandmother was alive.
It was cooked to perfection, and Marty’s special sauce is **chef’s kiss**
It’s a sweet mayo that adds just the extra flavor you didn’t know you needed.
The onion rings were the best I’ve ever had in my life. The only ones I’ve ever eaten where the onion actually stays inside the fried ring once you take a bite!
My husband loved his burger so much that he had to order another to take with him!
My daughter loved the fried chicken tenders. She ate the chicken and fries kids meal and then ordered additional chicken tenders . That never happens…she’s picky and doesn’t eat much!
They have lots of other delicious items on the menu, but I’m certain I’d have to go back with another burger when I visit again.
They also have an impressive list of icee flavors, ice-creams, and desserts.
Marty’s offers stew on certain days. I took a picture of the schedule for those interested. They offer beef stew, chicken stew, or goat stew, and it can be reserved ahead of time..
We enjoyed swinging under the covered patio even in this hot July heat.
The bathrooms are separate from the actual restaurant, but they’re so clean and spacious. It’s the perfect setup.
Marty’s is a little known wonder that’s off the beaten path, but it’s definitely worth the drive!
Try it. You won’t be disappointed. You’ll be planning your next trip to Anderson just like I am 😉
.OPEN EVERYDAY 1030AM TO 9PM #BESTBURGER
Let’s start with the burger: flame-broiled, juicy, and full of that smoky punch you only get when someone actually gives a damn in the kitchen. No shortcuts, no soggy mess—just a damn good burger done right.
But here’s where they really earn it: their service isn’t just friendly—it’s respectful. They honor service members like it means something, and watching them go out of their way to take care of the elderly? That hits different. You don’t see that kind of heart at most places anymore.
Top-notch food, top-tier people. This place doesn’t just feed you—it reminds you how good things can be when folks do things the right way.
