The food was AMAZING. Been in seguin here for a while and my mother in law is a frequent customer. Their food is fresh, hot and so good! Mexican restraunts are really a hit and miss out here, and they were so kind, food came quick, and it was delicious.

Had our small intimate wedding reception there with 50+ guests. Service was excellent, drinks from the bar & food out in a timely manner and that was with a full restaurant on a Friday night. I was very happy with our experience there.

Looked like they were short staffed and the (I think it was the owner) didn’t know what she was doing at all. She told us it was a 20 min wait when there was almost nobody there (got seated within 5 min tho, she had to push tables together). Our waiter was very nice helped with ordering and kept us updated. It was mainly the cooks who messed up and our waiter had to remind them that we still had a whole other plate we ordered, which took them quite a bit (for it to be and easier plate to cook) to get it out to us, like everyone else was fine eating by the time it came out (30 min). I’m from the south were they have actual mexican food, so the only way I know how to describe the food I got (pictured) is “White people enchiladas”. The sauce for it was ground beef based, not much cheese on them and I had to ask for more beeans as you can see. For my drink I had to get a dp cause it did not even taste like tea, not even un-sweet tea more like water with lime. The salsa tasted like spicy tomatoes. Not going to go back.

Tacos were so greasey and the chili rellano was so little. We left our plates 3/4 full. Only thing halfway good was queso. Never got refills on tea or water. We went when only 4 tables being served and wait staff was just standing around. Have been going there for over 18 years, evening held a rehearsal dinner here. Was truly disappointed this time.

The family visited El Ranchito yesterday for lunch and it was absolutely great. The waitress treated us like family thru the entire visit and the food was delicious. We give these folks 5 stars all the way. Seguin quisine was just as we had anticipated, absolutely wonderful and the environment was a South of the Border delight. Take the time to go eat here and enjoy.

Sometimes at a Mexican restaurant the beans are great and the rice is so-so and sometimes the rice is fabulous and the beans are mediocre. Both are are delicious.

Nice friendly restaurant, and the food was pretty good. During my visit, the restaurant had only one waitress at the time, and it took a little while to get the food. But unfortunately, that happens at food places.

You shouldn’t have to wait 35 minutes for a chicken breast, I didn’t even eat. The waitress was helpful and polite.but the waiting experience was not good
