Service & atmosphere, top tier! Drinks & appetizer were delish, & all reasonably priced for such a nice place. My date enjoyed his food (shrimp scampi); however, the gluten free pasta was the worst I’ve ever had, ever… the texture was terrible. I think what made it worse was that I was very excited to have a form of fettuccine Alfredo because the sauce is usually made with flour, which I can’t eat. The pasta was mushy, grainy & had an unpalatable texture. (iykyk – Gluten free eaters get it). Our waiter was very kind & not only comped my dish, which I only took 2 bites of, but gave me Alfredo sauce to go because it was yummy. I promptly added it to my fave rice noodles & it was tasty once I remade my meal at home. I tried another bite of the original thinking I was being sassy… sorry, no, it was still awful & got tossed. Replace the GF pasta & we definitely will return, & I’ll update!

This was a nice little spot to get pasta, something I was deeply craving and an establishment that fulfilled a prophecy. This place is nice and clean and modern. A good restaurant but lives on a busy street, some days is harder to find parking, depending. The staff here are friendly and helpful with suggestions. I was torn between 2 pastas but later found out they have smaller portions that allowed me to partake in a second helping of pasta. The scampi and carbonara are just the best. Scampi was lemony and the carbonara was creamy with guanciale. Absolutely fantastic and the smaller portions aren’t crazy expensive and the serving is perfect. I indulge in 2 pastas and, no regrets! The Empress cocktail is a good fit as well. Essentially a spiked lemonade. I would come here again if I’m ever lucky enough to find myself in the area.

I went twice shortly after they opened, but with the new menu launch as of 1/26/26, it feels like Maida has arrived. The place is vibrant and energetic. You need a reservation. The food is on point and I cannot wait to return to try more. Service is warm and attentive. Congrats to the Maida team on a welcome addition to the primo location in Old Town FoCo!

Made a reservation here after getting a recommendation from a friend. After checking in with the hostess they asked us to wait on the benches in the entryway. Several new parties were seated while we waited. This was unfortunate because when we checked in again it seemed like our table had been ready for 20 minutes. Our server was great – friendly and she quickly took care of having our pizza redone (the menu for the sausage pizza doesn’t mention a balsamic drizzle). The pastas we ordered were very tasty. In general a nice vibe and I think this would make a great date place if you’re not in a rush.

We had tried to make reservations before but could never get in so we were near there for lunch and they had openings. Starting out with the Burrata was incredible. Soft cheese, with tomatoes, bread, and balsamic was a great way to start. Then moving to the Bolgonese and the Funghi were delightful. The homemade pasta with the sauce was incredible. Finish it off with some gelato and it was a perfect lunch. The service was very good and atmosphere is great. We liked it so much we made reservations 2 weeks out to come back!

Amazing place! The location has a cute fireplace and views of downtown located right on the corner. The atmosphere is really nice, a little lamp that lights the whole table. Oh the food is delicious! Had the Alfredo with crispy chicken so good! Tiramisu for dessert yum! The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. Love this place!!!

This is our second time for dinner and we had a really nice experience both times. Adam and Sam are such nice people and took the time to have conversations with us. The pasta is made fresh daily, unlike other Italian restaurants in town, and it shows. The pistachio cheesecake is UNREAL! The warm light and cozy atmosphere is very inviting, especially on a cold winter night! The shrimp Alfredo, goat cheese app, and mussels were delicious. We will definitely be back to try more things!

Such a fun night! Excellent service, good food, mocktails for non drinkers so you don’t feel weird being the only one with a pop in the group.. the gelato was amazing.. the chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce was great! Beautiful restaurant. The way it’s set up you can hear your table mates well even in a larger group with a full restaurant. The Christmas decor was beautiful, too! Great group dinner spot or date night spot!

We came downtown with family to try out the new Maida Trattoria, and it absolutely delivered. The food is legit — the pepperoni flatbread and the lasagna were incredible, and I forgot to snap a picture of the shrimp scampi, but trust me… it was amazing.
Warm atmosphere, great service, and the kind of meal that actually makes you want to come back soon.
Highly recommend giving this place a shot. Fort Collins needed a spot like this.

First visit, our server, Dustin, was fantastic, personable and helpful with suggestions!! The tables for 4 are a bit small for the size of dishes used. Aside from that everything was wonderful!! We tried 4 appetizers, which were all very tasty. The Burrata (delicious and beautiful presentation), goat cheese (needed a few extra bread slices to even the cheese to bread ratio), Arancini (a bit aver cooked and hollow when you cut into it), and Focaccia (wonderfully cheesy and soft with a nice marinara). We all enjoyed our main dishes!! We tried the Piccata, Scampi, Funghi, Carbonara, and Eggplant Parm. Very good and generous portions. They didn’t offer a spoon to twirl long noodles, in case you prefer that technique. We didn’t ask for a soon, but noticed the absence.
The ambiance was lovely, warm and inviting. The restaurant was full, so a bit noisy, but still able to carry a conversation. Check out the family photo wall with 3 generations of Italian families. Reservations are highly recommended!
