Forgot to take a picture of the whole pie because it’s too good to wait. The tavern pie is the best pizza around and it’s not even close. I would say more, but I really need to get back to work (eating this pizza).

TJ’s Tavern Pie was okay at best. The crust was fine, but the sauce tasted like SpaghettiOs, which really threw the whole pie off. Not awful, just not memorable and definitely not something I’d rush back for.

Some of the best pizza I have had in me entire life. I travel the world for a living. I’ve had pizza in many of places. I live in las vegas which is trash for pizza. I’ve been in new jersey for 24 hours. I’ve been here 3 times. Currently headed to the airport with a pizza to fly home with. If your debating wether or not to eat here dont. Just do it. You wont be sad. Your taste buds will dance a happy dance. You’ll feel warm from the inside out. This takes comfort food to another level.

Ordered online throughout slice app, Caesar salad came half of the lettuce is brown and going bad and I cut my chicken sandwich and there was a huge long black hair and I have short red hair. I complain through the app and the restaurant said that they don’t have someone that works there that fits that description so they’re gonna do nothing for me ! that now I don’t think my food is sanitary and it will not be eating any of the food. It is all going in the garbage $30 down the drain. Definitely unhappy with this restaurant! I am housesitting do not know places in the area I was recommended this restaurant! Disgusting that they will do nothing for me that it isn’t sanitary or good ! The riceball was hard and dry, as if it was two days old, very gross and very unhappy! So Dissappointed!

Tavern pie is the best!!! We always go there for the Tavern pie but their calzones and soups are wonderful also. The staff there are always friendly and accommodating. This time we bought two cauliflower pizzas, one white and one plain. So good. Parking is available out front but can be difficult during peak times.

Seems like it is a family business. Met father first time there, then 2 sons this time.
Not far off Rt 9, so if heading home and stuck in traffic, take Ernston road exit. Go right to the first traffic light. Make a left, then TJs is in the shopping Plaza just past the next light on the right. Quick in and out.
To get back to 9 left out of lot to light. Right at light. About 1/4 mile make left; Perrine road. Take to 9.
