Au cœur de Saint Dyé sur Loire, à deux pas de la Loire, Chez Walter est un restaurant convivial avec une cuisine maison. Nouveaux horaires: nous serons fermés les services du mercredi midi en février et en mars. Nous les reprendrons en avril. Nous serons ouverts les mercredis soirs (en plus du midi) en juillet et en Août. Merci.

It’s a Saturday, it’s my birthday, I wanted to enjoy a well-rated restaurant and when I arrived, there was no one to tell us if we could find a table or not. Then a quite outraged gentleman came to tell us that if we didn’t have a reservation, we couldn’t eat there. It may be a good restaurant but it is unfair that on a saturday, the telephone line for reservations is only available from 12 to 13 30 to reserve a table for dinner

Situated in a quiet village but was virtually full by 8:30! Think that says a lot more about a place than many reviews. Very friendly, hardworking staff who speak multiple languages & give great service. Menu is on a blackboard and taken around the tables & the food is beautifully presented & cooked. Would definitely recommend & return.

Fantastic place for lunch, the food was delicious and there’s a large selection of local wines on the menu at a great price.
