You can’t beat the location of Pantry, right at the Petworth-Georgia Ave Metro station. I’ve been a loyal customer here since 2014, back when it was Sah La Thai, and the quality has never dropped. The service is always good, and the food is consistently fresh. My son and I agree: the rice dishes, noodles, sushi, and wings are all absolutely yummy and our go-to favorites. A true neighborhood staple!

I absolutely love Pantry!! It is my go to guilty pleasure. I basically order take out once a week from here. The pork fried rice in my favorite and arguably the best fried rice in the city. I also LOVE the sushi and always get the tuna avocado roll. This place is super accommodating if you have gluten allergy, they can make most rice and noodle dishes gluten-free and they even have a gluten-free soy sauce! Service is always a 10/10, they are super sweet. They also have pretty good happy hour deals and a market that sells gluten-free Ramen noodles. If you can’t tell already, I love this place!!!!

To start off the staff of this restaurant are super friendly. Made you feel super welcomed. The food was overall excellent. From the noodles to the sushi all of it had lots of flavor. The basil fried rice was the star of the show however. Super rich in flavor! Highly recommended getting it extra spicy. Definitely finish it off with mango and sticky rice because it’s always a solid dessert.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was good and come out 5min after order it. We brought our dog and sat on the patio. I really liked the Tom Kha Gai soup – had a very bright flavor and the shrimp Tempura roll – crunchy sweet and salty.

So incredibly tasty!!! Will definitely be back! The best Thai food I’ve had in dc so far! The only thing I didn’t like was the crab Rangoon, but the shrimp tempura roll was AMAZING and the pad Thai was soooo good! Everyone was very nice and service was super fast.

Although due to the name “Pantry” and the outward appearance it is not immediately obvious that it is either a restaurant or Thai, they are among the best Thai restaurants I have found in DC. The food here is excellent, and they are very responsive to requests for various spice levels. The spacious interior houses a combination of a sit-down restaurant, fairly long and spacious bar, and grocery store. And it is easy to get to, located right across the street from the Georgia Av-Petworth Metro station.

Amazing Thai food. So flavorsome and LOTS of meat with the dishes. For what you get, it’s great prices in today’s market. Need more of these neighborhood spots! Keep it up, Pantry 🙂

The atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was good. I will say that I really enjoyed the soup. However, I did not enjoy the meal….prik king. It was grainy and very salty. The green curry was tasty but very spicy.
