Terrible breakfast sandwich. I ordered sausage my hub got bacon. Both had squirt on meat mush. Suoer gross. $30 breakfast and n0w we need to go somewhere to get some more to eat.1 was too high but its the lowest available.

Heine Brothers has easily become my go-to coffee stop in Louisville. There’s always something interesting on the menu that catches my eye, and when I’m in the mood for home brew, they’re happy to grind a bag of my favorite roast just right. The vibe is welcoming, the staff is consistently friendly, and the fact that they’ll serve up a pup cup for our dog is the icing on the cake. Great coffee, great people, and a spot that feels like part of the community.

I wish I remembered her name, but a barista at Heine Brothers once gave me more than an iced coffee. Back in August, I was unemployed and waiting weeks for unemployment to come through, with no income and very little margin for small comforts. I stopped in thinking a coupon would cover an iced coffee, only to realize it didn’t. She gave it to me anyway.
It was such a simple act, but on a heavy day it felt enormous. That cup of coffee became a quiet reminder that kindness still exists, often in the smallest, most unexpected ways. I carry that moment with me, and it’s one of the reasons Heine Brothers will always have my loyalty.

I come here quite frequently. It always had a lovely atmosphere, and the drinks are incredible.
The staff is also kind, and considerate when dealing with allergies

Walked in to an empty, clean and nicely arranged space to silence and then waited for about five minutes to have order taken. Drive thru seemed to be the focus. Drinks were great but not sure this would be my spot to hang as the baristas didn’t speak to anyone coming or going. But spoke to each other loudly enough I could hear the conversation while sitting on the couch.

The service has gotten awful inside this location – I know that HB is focusing on drive thru traffic as they’ve closed all their locations without drive thrus, but it’s gotten ridiculous. I went in and stood at the counter for 2 minutes before any of the 4 people behind the counter even talked to me. What used to be a nice local experience has devolved into corporate crap. You might as well go to Starbucks.

Did not welcome me in. did not greet me when taking my order, instead said “what can i do for you?”. got my name wrong after 2 times, even after spelling it for them. didn’t call my name out when my order was done, instead silently put my order out in front of other people who were currently ordering. coffee was old. This kind of service isn’t what heine brothers’ is supposed to be about.

Very typical feel of a standard coffee shop but so it wasn’t a unique setting like most small business places. Has some good different options over a Starbucks menu as well. We both grabbed a Cold Brew and mine specifically was the S’mores Cold Brew and the flavor was wonderful! I also added a Blueberry Scone and despite being later in the day it wasn’t too dry like often happens with a Scone.
