We found this place and decided to go there. When we walked in the door we were greeted by two gentlemen that were working there.
We were able to look at the ice cream that they had and pick out what we wanted and then they told us to you have a seat and they would bring it out to us when it was.
They’re serving sizes are more than generous and their prices are very very reasonable.
It’s located in a very easily accessible area and the inside is set up very cute.
You should check out their food menu as well. We didn’t eat any of the food there. We just had ice cream but the food that we saw when we were there definitely look like it was delicious.
You owe it to yourself to give them a try if you’re ever in Duluth visiting.
I placed my order at about 6:40 PM. The bill was about average for going out these days. The young man in the glasses was very patient and polite while taking our order. The food was great, as usual, no complaints there(yet, you’ll see why). What got me is the horrible cross contamination between raw beef, buns, and handles of spatulas and shakers. The guy on the left in the picture, with the curly brown hair, only changed his right hand glove at 7:10 PM. He still had put down almost a dozen raw beef patties and a cheesesteak set, then touched all the seasoning handles, then the spatulas, then THE BUNS, then the papers the finished product goes on. He then went and WIPED THE GLOVED HANDS on a cloth rag, that hadn’t been dunked in a sanitation bucket in the entire time I have been in here. He even put together the finished toppings before changing the one glove, while leaving the other still on, still contaminated.
Then, while our food is being made, the young woman on the right with the grey hat comes out and says loudly “People really need to start tipping!” I have always been told “Tips are appreciated, but never expected.” This made most people waiting cringe a little, as all of our bills were extremely expensive, and I assume we all tipped what we could. This needs fo change before I come back. The food is great, but this was enough for me to write a review.
We ordered our food at 5:32pm and we sat down to wait.
About 15 minutes into waiting- we hear someone behind the counter say that they are completely out of beef to another worker- and that he was running to the store to get some.
No one ever came to our table to let us know that we would be waiting for someone to go buy burger and get back.
We did not get our food for 40 minutes after ordering. When brought out the guy said “did you have order number 75? We said “yes” he practically tossed the trays on the table and walked away without another word.
They didn’t offer a discount- a free desert- a refund- NOTHING! After not even communicating that we would be sitting and waiting for 40 minutes when we were the only not to-go order in the place that did not already have their food.
On top of that- the burgers and the chicken tenders were all extremely dry.
The people working in this location need to learn how to communicate and to be more personable.
Highly unsatisfying experience! Especially for spending almost $60
Had fries, cheese curds, and a mushroom burger. The fries are potatoey, oily, salty, and overall fantastic. The curds are foamy, square and fantastic. The mushroom burger is a fried mushroom with a pretty great sauce, and I liked it. Honestly thought it was an actual BURGER when I was ordering so I’m jonesing for some meat, but I’ll be ok.
I wish they wouldn’t staple the bags… The staples can stick out and cut ya pretty good. Sauces are extra, which sucks.
Overall, I would eat here again.
