Previous 5 start to a 1 star. We stopped in and the other 2 tables were already finishing up. We got 2 lasagna dishes and 1 sandwich. 10 minutes after receiving lasagna we had to ask for the bread. Half of one lasagna has non cooked noodles, they were extremely hard and crunchy, unedible. This was the 2nd sandwich- the first one wasn’t brought because it was burned…….. It took over 25 minutes to get this. Chloe never checked in, asked about refills, nothing. Previous regulars and we will never return to this location.

Good was fantastic which is why I scored this a5 instead of a 4. The waitresses was paying more attention to a large group mosh than my party of 2, probably figuring a larger to from that big group. Good thing the food was a good as it was.

Great pizza. I tried this place yesterday for the first time because while fueling at the Sam’s club nearby I could smell some good food cooking. I ordered an individual thin crust delux pizza and was very pleased.Today I had to double back this time for a deluxe pan pizza. And again the pizza was delicious. Highly recommended for delicious pizza.

Monical’s is my favorite pizza place. The buffet is always great. However, they placed pizzas on top of the buffet and left them. By the time I finished my salad and got my pizza, it was cold. Not good.

They were busy, I get it, but service was poor at best. Simply there for a carryout, walked up to counter & gave our name, they said pizza wasn’t ready & just to wait. 15 min later I asked to check the status & they again said they’d let me know when ready. Another 20 minutes later, knowing it couldn’t take over an hour since I ordered our pizza, I went back up & asked to check the status, she turns around, grabs it off the shelf, where it had been sitting for OVER A HALF HOUR , and says “here you go”. There’s frustrating & then there’s just ridiculous. Pizza was no longer hot, but tasted good as expected.

Look here, I’m new to eating at Monicals. I’ve only been eating here for the last year now. It’s usually been about $30 or $40 bucks max.
How come I placed a carryout order tonight 11/11/2025 at 4:30pm and it came up to $72!!!!
Family Pleaser $26, large 1 topping $22, cheese sticks $14. Even after placing the order I called back and had the manager take another look at it bc the math ain’t mathin. I like Monicals Pizza but I don’t know if I $72 like it. Ridiculious ♀️

I’ve been a fan of Monical’s pizza all of my life and since they were in a small little hole in the wall place when I was young. I remember the fake grapes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling. Still they are my #1 favorite place to get a pizza. Unfortunately, I no longer live in Illinois to enjoy their pizza. I live in the Pizza Capital of the United States (Connecticut) and still their pizza doesn’t compare to my hometown taste for Monical’s.

Ordered a delight pizza via the app for take out. Arrived 5 minutes before the app said the pizza would be ready and it was already wrapped and ready to go. A couple minutes later I opened the foil and bag it was wrapped in and the crust on one side was soggy, like it had been in water. Unfortunately we were traveling on the interstate so I couldn’t return it. The crust and flavor of the pizza, isn’t as good as it use to be. We order this when traveling back to the area. The counter person gave me the plates and utensil as requested, I also asked for a couple for parmesean cheese packets and 1 red pepper, I received 10 or more of each. What a waste, hard to keep your costs down when you give away product that is usually thrown away.

Went here couple weeks ago and got the monkey bread. Was worth every cent. Everything was amazing, notably the sauce for the monkey bread. Twas an amazing experience that I would gladly do again. Hence, next time you visit I incline you to ask for extra special sauce for your monkey bread 10/10 would eat again. Why do they call it monkey bread tho. ️ ️
