Highly recommended from a friend. Sparse Monday afternoon lunch crowd but a very wonderful waitress.
I ordered off the lunch menu due to my budget and was told the dinner portions were rather large.
The sides didn’t really appeal to me, so I just tried the roasted potatoes and they were just ok. I tried the roast beef and it wasn’t my favorite or tender enough.
The salad bar was great and I absolutely loved the chicken salad on it.
The sweet tea was sweet!
I loved the decor and authentic Peruvian artwork. Makes a great spot for a date or special occasion with various dining areas to afford you more privacy.

Everything we had was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Beef ribs, Ceviche, stir fry and pasta were great. The ice tea with cinnamon was surprisingly good. Highly recommend!

On Friday, I visited with my sister and sister-in-law to pick up a food order. We arrived around 8:40 PM. While waiting, I politely asked the server if it was too late to order a lemon drop from the bar since my sister, who was visiting for her birthday, wanted to try one. The server informed us that it was not too late, and we proceeded to the bar area.
At that time, there were only two other couples dining in. As we approached the bar, another employee who appeared to have come from the back made a loud and unprofessional remark stating, “Oh, we close in 20 minutes.” The tone and delivery felt directed at us and came across as rude and unnecessary. I asked the server who the comment was directed toward and expressed that it felt inappropriate. She agreed with my concern.
Due to the discomfort, I decided not to spend any additional money at the establishment. I requested to speak with a manager and was initially told there was no manager available. Shortly after, a manager named Carlos came out. Unfortunately, rather than addressing the issue or offering an apology, he stated that he could not control what his employees say. I found that response disappointing, as leadership is ultimately responsible for setting and maintaining standards of professionalism and customer service.
There was no acknowledgment of the poor experience or effort to make things right. Customer service should remain a priority until closing time, and respectful communication is essential. With so many dining options in Goldsboro, NC, professionalism and hospitality truly matter.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that additional customer service training is provided for both management and staff.
As a military wife, my family dines here often, however due to this experience I will NEVER spend my $ at this establishment again.

This is the first time trying Peruvian food. I was surprised that the parking lot was empty but decided to go in anyway. It was around 1:30 PM so maybe the lunch rush was over.
We were greeted by a very nice girl who promptly seated us and brought us our drinks. She handed us our lunch and dinner menus. We decided to order from the lunch and we were pleased with our choices. We had more than we could eat so we have left overs for later.
The plating was very nice, the amounts were filling, and the service was prompt.
We tried their salad bar and it was fresh, many choices, and delicious. I ordered the roast beef sandwich on the brioche bread and my granddaughter ordered the salmon.
There are plenty of seats, parking, and menu options. The dinner menu is more expensive and the lunch prices are about the same as the other restaurants in the vacinity.
We will go there again.

Great food and huge amounts for the price. Everything was very flavorful and juicy. Sauces were great with the meats. Servers were nice and patient. The atmosphere was calm and not bright or loud. Very relaxing and didn’t have to wait a long time even though we ordered about all the meats available. We got the Carlos platter and came with seven meats and four sides for an amazing price!

I told my waitress I wanted a “cheeseburger meal” with no lettuce no tomato and extra mayo…now thinking by ordering a “meal” normally that means burger and fries! My food comes out with no fries and burger with everything on it and the waitress says to me sir they put everything on your burger you will be fine with it won’t you just move the stuff to the side and no fries because she said I didnt order fries! I dont eat tomato items due to a food allergy that affects my digestive system…she also put everything on my brothers burger that he didnt order it with and was told to just rack it off aswell!

This place was amazing. Kind of disappointed I have never been here. As soon as walking in we were greated by the owner who sat us down. Even pulled out my chair and seated me!!! The food was wonderful. Just amazing, no other way to explain how good everything was. The restaurant was very nice and clean. The staff was so kind. I believe we tried just about all the meats they sell there. We had a platter. And it was well worth the money. The appetizer was really good. Everything was good. We will definitely be coming back sooner then later! I don’t think you would be disappointed with anything you order. Check them out!

I had an early dinner here on 10/25 with a few people. It was my first time dining at Los Fogones but I will definitely return! My server, Anayeli was the best! Very attentive, explained the menu to us and made great recommendations. The lomo saltado with chicken and shrimp was so good, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to drink traditional sweet tea again!

I live in MN, but I may have to fly out here once a year to indulge! The entire meal was amazing, from the buns, to the pastries, to the platter to the cocktails, to dessert. The staff was wonderful, and the salad bar was also fresh and enjoyable.
