This was the worst service we have received in quite some time. It’s very clear the restaurant is understaffed and is stressed. Our waiter was wonderful, but he had so many tables he couldn’t even keep up. The food was dry and overcooked. It took us over 25 minutes to get each round of drinks. We ended up leaving and asking for a credit for one entree and a round of drinks. We will never return and suggest others do the same until this place gets their crap together.

Super long wait for chips queso guac and main entrees. At one point they ran out of salsa. One of the main dishes for vegetable fajitas was majorly burned. We ordered fajitas for 2 but honestly it looks like it’s for one.

Had a family luncheon here. Always liked the one in Denver. The overall experience was not impressive. Felt like they have gone out of their way to create a yuppy atmosphere at the expense of good food and service. I got the barbacoa and it was like it was out of a box at Safeway. Half my plate of beef was fat and gristle. The rice came out looking like sticky mashed potatoes served with an ice cream scoop and tasted about the same. The beans were passable. My husband had the same experience with his. One of our party ended up not ordering anything because he was told they had no tortillas for him to have burritos but they came with the meals so we were confused. Service was slow and half our table was nearly done before the other half got their food. For a restaurant that is charging top dollar for an upgraded experience this fell far short. And meedless to say we didn’t order the 45$ margarita lol! Next time we’ll just go to On the Border.

We stopped in here around 3pm on Valentine’s Day and it was our first time ever. I was very impressed on the happy hour menu and lunch menu they offer. The food was delicious and fresh! Our waitress was very friendly. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, and grilled steak tacos. Definitely can’t wait to come back during the summer so we can eat outside.

Wow what a great place and experience. The chocolate pinyata was a great treat. The dinner street tacos was spectacular and the dessert was a great ending to a wonderful family dinner.

Hacienda Colorado isn’t the same as it used to be. The food quality has dropped so I’ve been trying other things on the menu hoping to find something that brings me back. It seems they have switched to a Tex Mex style which is definitely not Colorado. The service is still good and the atmosphere is great. The view here is why we go. The drinks are ok with plenty of options and a high end tequila selection. I would recommend it, but not as much for the food as the view and the drinks.

Today me and husband dined in and we are the regular here. We ordered Enchiladas and taco salad which looked great. Enchiladas was great but in taco salad we found a bug. When I took a bit I got very bad taste and spit it out. Later after digging found a green color bug (as in image). We told to our server, she conveyed messages to her manager. Manager later came apologizing and literally lying in front of our face saying “ its just the cut off stem from the salad”. I don’t know why she denied what was in front of her. We should have cleaned with water before showing to her where she couldn’t deny. Anyway, foods are good here but don’t trust on the salad/greens here as they do not clean before serving to the customers.

We have dined here a number of times over the last 2 years. Initially a wonderful place to eat with great salsa, food and service. The last few visits it’s gradually declined. Salsa has changed, chips were stale. Water decanter was dirty. Menu has changed, drinks are over priced, mostly ice and very weak. Not how they were before for sure! We thought maybe these are one offs and decided to come back one more time. Went with server recommendations since they were out of what we both wanted to order. Our food came out cold and dry. My daughter and I are both having all the unpleasant symptoms of food poisoning since we left there night before last. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

We had a fantastic dining experience! We were seated early, which was a pleasant surprise. The guacamole cart was a highlight, providing an entertaining and interactive way to enjoy our food right at the table. Watching the chef prepare our guacamole was both fun and delicious! The drinks were exceptional, perfectly complementing our meal. Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!

I begin this by saying I gave the restaurant 2 weeks to respond to my concerns before posting. Heard nothing.
Booked an 85th birthday celebration for our mother. Group of 30. All went well until the party began. A single server was assigned to our large group. She could have cared less because I’m sure she knew gratuity would be added onto our bill ($nearly $900). Had to get our own napkins and silverware. Took forever to get anything. Drinks were nearly impossible to get, refills almost non existent. Imagine how long it took for one server to take 30 orders! No busser. Plates never cleared. No plates brought until we searched them out for cake (cake sitting on a decorated table w gifts the entire time!). Even worse, a manager never set foot into room to see how we were doing nor thank us. Food was marginal at best. Used to be good. New ownership has failed epically in my opinion. An opportunity to build the business and it was lost. Instead, they get a review like this. Stay away is my recommendation. Many, many other great options in Colorado Springs. Couldn’t have been more disappointed.
