Food came very quick, ordered the treetop tacos, the chicken and waffles with strawberry and 2 smash burgers. All were out in 15 minutes at the most! Great food, staff was super friendly and always on top of refills. We also played with their card games and had a much better time than a typical restaurant experience. Would recommend!!

My husband and I stopped in here for a pre-dinner cocktail and a snack. We sat at the bar and were warmly welcomed by Nick who was extremely friendly and engaging. We let him know that we were just there for a drink but after looking at the menu we were very intrigued by the food. My husband asked about the soup of the day and Nick was genuinely excited to tell us about the creamy hamburger-soup and chili that the chef had prepared that day. He then offered us samples of each which you would expect to come out right away in a sample cup but instead after about 5 minutes it was presented to us as a thoughtfully prepared appetizer with two little cups of each for us to try. Both of them were absolutely delicious! We were both somewhat full so we decided to skip our original plan and just try a couple of the appetizers. We couldn’t agree on what to get so Nick suggested the “sampler plate” which was not your typical bar offering. Again it was a beautifully presented plate of delicious and unique upscale versions of traditional appetizers. The cherry on the cake was the espresso martini that he made me as my dessert. Highly recommend if you are looking for an upscale experience in a casual bit inviting atmosphere. Accolades to Rocky the chef!

Found ourselves at Treehouse in CDA for Happy Hour and Nick recommended the soup flight and WE’RE SO GLAD HE DID! All the soups are made fresh, in house and they were delicious! The chef Rocky, came out and talked to us and was so proud of his soups! He should be! Next week they’re doing beer cheese soup! I know I’ll be here!

What an awesome experience! I stumbled upon the Treehouse Cafe online, and thought I would take my BFF who was visiting out of state with me to try an early dinner! We arrived and we were met by Nick, a fantastic server! We loved the seating overlooking the main street outside, and the menu was so exciting! Nick was so eager to tell us all about the menu – and it the variety of sides for the handhelds were unique! My friend and I both opted for the ciabatta dip (with pepper bacon jam!) and the Mexican street corn salsa, after choosing an appetizer of batters mushrooms. The unique thing about their mushrooms is that they use seasonal mushrooms, not just regular button mushrooms! They were oyster mushrooms, this time around, and we were given garlic aioli and we also asked for some ranch! The food was top notch, but the service was even top notchier! Happy Hour gives $2 off each of the appetizers (we came at the right time!) – those mushrooms! And ask for their huckleberry menu!
Nick was our server and was stellar! We left, and it was starting to fill up and apparently they have all you can eat spaghetti on Thursday nights?! Amazing! Will definitely be back again!!

I came to this place because of Jenn. Straight up. Okay here’s the story-
I called to see if Treehouse was doing karaoke on a Sunday night, and she spent 8 minutes on the phone with me googling, calling her DJ, and asking patrons where I could find a place to sing in CDA on a Sunday night. She cared SO much. After visiting 4 other bars and calling 10 others, onceni discovered that not one single place in the whole town does Karaoke on a Sunday night, (ahem- LAME, CDA, get your shit together), I decided that no one deserved my company more than Jenn. When I arrived, she recognized me by my voice, made a menu recommendation which the kitchen staff, led by Royce, made me the absolute best food I’ve ever eaten in a bar in North Idaho. Full stop. Honestly not exaggerating here, I’m a big boy, a rock drummer and I’ve had bar food in every corner of this country. Royce’s cooking rivaled ALL of my previous experiences in 47 years on planet Earth. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is on point, the vibe is right, but if you didn’t read the first line of this review, you’re missing the point.
It’s Jenn. The bartender is everything in the bar business, and Jenn has a radiant personality and really made my otherwise wasted trip to CDA into a magical success. I am so grateful that I came to Treehouse tonight. If you’re online reading reviews about places to go, trust me. This is the right place. But call ahead to make sure Jenn and Royce are working, otherwise I can’t vouch for the experience. But if Jenn is there, you’re guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience and if Royce is working, you’re guaranteed to have an incredibly delicious meal.

Didn’t know what to expect with this little local pub, but we were pleasantly surprised with the food and drinks! Way above your standard pub fair. The taste combinations were brilliant! We also really enjoyed the “fries”. They were so hot and delicious! Dakota was a friendly server and we appreciated her input.
