This pepperoni pizza is literally flawless. I don’t know how but it’s like every time I order it it gets better than the last time even though I didn’t think it was possible to improve upon it. Oh and go on Wednesday for wing night because those are insanely good too. Huge selection of amaro and other spirits. Tiramisu like it was made by an old Italian woman. Great vibes, great staff, great food 10/10 no notes.

Had an awesome meal at Bar Rosa! Originally from New York, and it’s been a struggle finding a good pizza spot in Tacoma. Pizza was fantastic, drink selection was phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back!

Nice little spot with open air and a different chill vibe. Employees were really nice. It was dimly lit which was nice for the atmosphere but my phone had a hard time reading the qr code to look at the menu. I couldn’t decide between 2 different pizzas. The one I ended up getting was okay but the salad was amazing! Drinks were different and fun (I love anything lavendar). There was a friendly employe that chatted with me at the bar and seemed to really enjoy working there. It’s always nice when the employees are happy about the establishment as well. I will be back, nice spot.

Pizzas were incredible. One of the top in Tacoma I’d say. Drinks were strong. My friends and I were approached by another customer here who appeared to be drunk, and the server kept checking up on us to make sure he wasn’t bothering us. That made me feel safe. Very much appreciated! Wonderful staff and delicious food.

Ive heard such wonderful things about this place and had to come check it out for myself! I brought my family in for lunch and it was AMAZING! We had the Ceasar salad. So delicious definitely enough to share. We had the vesuvio pizza and the calabria pizza. It was the BEST pizza we have ever had. Kudos to the chef! All the ingredients were fresh and presentation was BEAUTIFUL! Service was WONDERFUL! Mariah was so sweet and made us feel at home. We didnt have to ask for a thing. She was always one step ahead. and her drinks were phenomenal! We will be coming back and bringing all of our friends and family !!!

I have heard about the food in this location, but I never had the change to try it. My wife and I tried it for the first time. I must say the pizza we ordered was very tasty. Sorry, i dont remember the name of the pizza we had, it was a different .The cook Julius, did a really good job with preparation, he had a spirit of an old soul , Very down to earth, pleasant, polite and kind, he didnt mind interacting while staying busy. we loved the whole vibe at this location. We will most definitely be back!

Love this place! Pricey, but been twice and everything is delicious. Some interesting pizzas, salads, best tiramisu I’ve had. The cocktails are great too.

Would i come here again, No. I got the Pancho and Tammy, a tequila based drink and it was underwhelming to say the least. No real flavor profile other than watery. Ordered the vesuvio pizza and it was beyond soggy center(see video for reference)
The place was busy so apparently it’s popular but two drinks and a pizza for $75 i rather not. Obviously just my opinion

Bar Rosa has become a regular spot for us because of the consistent quality and delicious food and decent cocktails we have experienced the last 4-5 visits. The Wood-fired zucchini with corn purée is one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had- well-balanced flavors of smoky, tangy, spicy, hot, cold, & sweet and the perfect amount of salt. The Vesuvio pizza was cooked to perfection and the toppings were the perfect ratio. I highly recommend getting a side of their great marinara to dip your crust on. Caesar salad was perfection. Service is adequate, nothing overly special and the cocktails I have had have been ok, the pour is not as strong as I would like, but still good. Would love if they would get the single, large ice cubes for whisky as they just use the same small cubes of ice as they do for other drinks, which just ruins a premium whiskey in my opinion. Atmosphere on a Friday happy hour and Saturday afternoon was light, fun and airy with the large open windows. The real star is the chef manning the wood-fired oven, they clearly are an expert in their craft. Hilltop might be a bit sketchy, but Bar Rosa is a gem worth visiting.

The pizza was decent, but the restaurant was so packed that the waiters were too occupied to pay attention to us. Our check was simply dropped off at our table with no word, and the two servers were frantically rushing around, trying to clear tables quickly to accommodate new customers!
