Ordered Veg 65, Methi Chaman, and Dondi Fry from Bay Biryanis for an event, and honestly loved it! The Veg 65 had perfect hyderabadi street flavor which was hard to find, the Methi Chaman was super flavorful and comforting, and the Dondi Fry was cooked perfectly with great taste. Everything felt fresh and well-made, and it was a hit at the event. Definitely ordering again!

I’ve tried their Chicken pachi mirchi pulao and Gutti vankaya pulao from a catering order, a few months ago. Both were delicious and with that impression, we visited this place last night, right from the moment I entered, the ambience set the wrong tone — it felt chaotic and messy rather than like a proper restaurant setup.
We ordered their Chicken Vijayawada Biryani, which is supposed to be one of their signature dishes. Unfortunately, it arrived cold and tasted nothing like biryani. It felt more like biryani rice mixed with some random gravy or sambar — absolutely disappointing. The flavors were completely off, and the texture didn’t do justice to the price tag.
Service & Ambience
The ambience was unpleasant and uninviting — poor AC control, overly bright lighting that made the environment uncomfortable. Even though the staff offered a 15% discount after we shared our concern, it didn’t make up for the overall experience.
Suggestions:
Bay Biryanis seriously need to revamp their dine-in ambience, lighting, and food quality. Their catering pulaos are genuinely good, so maybe they should stick to what they do best and ensure consistency there.
Final Verdict
❌ Not worth the dine-in experience — from ambience to biryani, it missed the mark completely and too expensive for the current quality.
If you still want to try something from them, go for their pulavs, not the biryanis.

I Ordered food from catering menu for Pooja at my house. Food delivery and setup was on time. Menu included garelu, poornalu, paneer tikka masala, Andhra veg palao, beerakaya pachadi, dondakaya cashew pakodi fry, sambar and papad. All the food was yummy and tasty like home cooked and guests loved and enjoyed the South Indian delicacies! Definitely recommend!!

I usually like the food at Bay Biryanis, but this experience was unacceptable. The packaging was terrible, the curry containers were not sealed properly and were just thrown into a thin plastic bag. The entire bag was leaking oil and sauce from the bottom and made a huge mess.
Food quality becomes irrelevant when the packaging fails this badly. Restaurants that offer takeout should understand that packaging is part of the customer experience.
I strongly recommend Bay Biryanis fix their packaging process immediately because this level of carelessness is unacceptable.

Bay biryani is simply the best Indian food in Austin. Their biryanis are authentic, super flavorful and spicy as needed. The Biryani here reminds me of Hyderabadi biryani.
Recently for catering, we tried their tiifins and thali which were also very delicious. Very few food places can make really good Biryanis and authentic South Indian food. Especially we loved their Gongura pappu, so flavorful and delicious. I would recommend everyone to try this place.

Had a great experience here. I have been dining in regularly for more than a year now. The customer service is excellent—staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. The food was really good too. We tried the mysore masala dosa, gongura biryani, and pulao, Irani chai and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. I have seen a lot of people do a takeout meal and catering too. Overall, a very satisfying meal and a place I’d happily visit again. Highly recommended!

Tried the pachi mirchi (green chilli) chicken pulao at this place on uber eats. The curry and pulao were separate with the curry layer on top of the rice, and the taste and flavor were good . Only downside was the spice level, ordered medium but was a bit too spicy for me . However I think that is how this biryani is supposed to taste, just not the right spice level for me as that’s the lowest spice level I could go. Wish they had a ‘mild’ option. If you can handle a lot of spice, this one is a good try .

We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered two appetizers — Madras Pepper Chicken Fry and Veg Ball Manchurian — and both were really delicious with good portion sizes.
For the main course, we tried three biryanis: Ulavacharu Bajji Biryani and Goat Keema Biryani. The flavors were excellent, the quality was top-notch, and the quantity was very reasonable for the price.
The hospitality and service were also very good, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a place worth visiting again!
