its been a couple days since we went. ive had to really think long and hard about how to word this review tactfully.
the reason for our visit was i have two very food curious kids who are into trying not only new foods but different ways of eating. fondue, raclette, hibachi, etc. i knew this was going to be expensive but my choices were either i buy all the stuff fondue pots, raclettes, forks outright and hope my kids liked it and i didn’t waste money on all that stuff or go here and test drive how they respond to it how well they follow directions too.
i saw that there was a kids eat free on a tues and thought well lets go try it. i already have seen several other restaurants who do a kids eat free but you have to buy an adults entree. i get it the restaurant has to recoup somewhere. unfortunately i am a single parent with two kids so that deal never works right. this restaurant does something real sneaky and i caught it right away….the kids eat free after 4. the adult entrees are 120 give or take.
if you were to come in for lunch and they ate free for lunch then your spending 40 to 60 on an entree and their free but on a dinner entree your spending 120 so you just paid for their dinner about 27 is the kids price with your entree. so no they do not eat free.
to add insult they charged my little son whose not more than 5 27 dollars. …. 27 dollars to eat maybe two of his fists full of food.
lesson to all with little foodies in the house buy the stuff the plates, the fondue sticks the raclettes etc.
to melting pot retire your kids eat free promotion/program OR just suggest they come in for a very straight forward chocolate and fruit
or cheese and veggie.

Delicious! And we had the best waitress who consistently came to check in and make sure we were doing alright! She also explained how everything worked! 10 dollars more at 140 gets you a ton of food from the base 130 option which is what I personally recommend! The absolute most amazing thing was that a non alcoholic desert drink surprised us because the waitress wanted our anniversary to be special. Service 100% food was also delicious!

We enjoyed our 18 month wedding anniversary dinner here earlier this week. Ian was our server and he was very friendly & attentive and did a great job making all the fondues for us. We had the Wisconsin cheddar, steak lovers and the smores, all were delicious and perfect! We’ve been coming here for years and every time the experience is wonderful! We love to see the Christmas decor too, always a great spot for a photo op!
One thing I would recommend is the seat cushions are getting pretty flat and uncomfortable so perhaps upgrading that would enhance the dining experience more.

I’d budget about 2 hours of time to spend here – I’m actually glad we started early (around 5:00PM). It was an amazing 4 course meal full of presentation, atmosphere and service. The Old Fashioned was amazing, though I swapped the Rye whiskey with a Woodford Reserve. They’re also working with their wine vendor on some pricing for their bottles at discount, which they conveyed they’re passing along to their customers. Great spot – on the pricier side but….you definitely get what you pay for!

I know this place is a staple and a chain restaurant, but man, is it cool. Pick your cheese, pick your veggies, melt, dip, and enjoy. Then move on to proteins and more veggies, pick your broth to cook them in, cook, and enjoy. Then pick your chocolate, your fruits, your gluten-free treats, or gluten-plus treats, melt, dip, and enjoy. The cheesecake is great too. Service is awesome, and the décor is super cool as well. Plan to spend about 1.5 hours here. Great place, great food, great service, great times.

Absolutely loved this place and our server Elizabeth was phenomenal. Excellent customer service and menu. This an intimate expierence in a historic building, we sat in a booth tucked away and slowly enjoyed a great course of fondue’s. The Wisconsin cheese was a great, but it was a very hard choice. We had the trio off the menu that included a second fondue pot with seasoned broth in which cooked bite sized shrimp, filet mignon, teriyaki bites, chicken, pork and ravioli. Followed by a toffee chocolate fondue desert with a mixed variety for dipping… lets not forget wine is half price at lunch. It was a great mid week birthday brunch venue with my sister! Thank you!!
PS she recommends visiting weekdays vs weekends, apparently it gets a little crazy on weekends.

Love the four course menu. You can sample the different fondue options (cheese, broth, chocolate) without feeling overwhelmed. We loved the granny Smith apple combination with the bread for the cheese. The Memphis dry rub meat and the tuna and the pepper steak were delicious for the broth. We loved the coq au vin broth because it was light and flavorful. We had the banana foster fondue, dessert, and substituted. It was milk chocolate for white chocolate. Either that or dark chocolate is wonderful. Yeah, the server was so helpful and explaining all of our options. The Littleton building is so fun as a historic building with lots of brick and cozy spaces. We appreciated the different options for the glass of wine from 5 ounces to a full bottle. The Mosel white wine is delicious.

We had such an Amazing Christmas Eve lunch! Destinie N. was our server and she was a breath of fresh air. She was energetic and friendly but not false. She was attentive but not pushy. 10 out of 10 recommend her service. We arrived at our reservation time and realized that there were domes for outside seating. We asked if it was possible to move to a dome and they made it happen. Then when I asked for a meal accommodation due to a medical issue there were no issues. Staff were exceptional from the bussers to the wait staff and everyone in-between. The food was exceptional too! Thanks for making our lunch special and hope to come back of we come this way again!

Definitely an experience. I always found it odd cooking my own food; and it’s pricey… About $60 for lunch per person. Staff was great and food was good. Fun place to eat and the restaurant is absolutely a gorgeous old library. We’ll try the oils next time 🙂 has the mojo this time with the four course and a bottle of wine which is half off early Saturday afternoons btw.
