Nando’s never disappoints! This particular location really made our visit special. My husband and I went for lunch and we had the absolute best customer experience. The host and servers were absolutely amazing and checked in on us several times during our meal. We enjoyed some beer for happy hour and it was perfect with the chicken!

I’ve been a fan of their sauces from the store for years, but during a weekend in D.C., I finally got to visit the actual restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s an order-at-the-counter, self-serve-drinks kind of place, and while the service was straightforward and no-frills, the food more than made up for it. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, with some surprisingly creative side options that made the meal even better.

The staff are so wonderful, kind, and helpful, and the manager’s the best! So very considerate and friendly! This location is in a lovely area, easily accessible by metro. Their food is quality and amazing, as always! Made with delicious, fresh, healthy ingredients. A bit pricey, but worth it! We never grow tired of coming here, and everytime it’s better than we remembered it.

I was staying nearby and ordered takeout from here. I walked in and placed my order. The staff were nice and I didn’t have to wait too long to get my order. I got a Perri chicken fillet sandwich with fries and a Dr Pepper. The sandwich was so good, I got the lemon herb sauce and the chicken was flavorful and juicy. I also had the fries with sauce, they were crispy and tasted good with the sauce. I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch or dinner.

We went here after leaving the airport. We were hungry and wanted something quick and fast. I’ve been to Nando’s plenty of times but this was my first time visiting this location. When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if we were dining in or taking out. We got a table, ordered using the QR code. The food was delicious! Everyone was super friendly and attentive. We had a great experience overall and will be back!

Our first Nando’s experience was in London so it is good to have one closer. Always so yummy and this location is great because it is so close to so many shops. Cool vibe, great food, fast service. I got the Rainbow Bowl with Thighs…”Hot” level was perfect…. enough heat to feel it but still not overpowering. Highly recommend.

The meals are excellent, particularly their chicken dishes. The restaurant operates on a self-service model – you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. They provide cups for drinks, and you can help yourself to sodas, iced tea, and other beverages at the drink station. There’s also a condiment station where you can fill small containers with various spices and sauces to bring to your table.
Our main disappointment was regarding the kids’ menu. Despite being advertised both in-store and online, they weren’t offering children’s meals when we visited. This was especially frustrating since we specifically chose this restaurant because of their kids’ menu options, and it was a weekend when many families dine out.
We learned they offer free kids’ meals every Tuesday, which is nice, but it’s unclear if that’s the only time the children’s menu is available. If so, this seems like a poor business decision.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and accommodating. When my toddler accidentally tried some spicy food, they kindly provided us with complimentary garlic bread to help.
Overall, while the food quality and service were good, the restaurant could improve by being more consistent with their kids’ menu offerings and clearer in their communication about availability. Despite the confusion with the children’s menu, we would return for the tasty food and helpful staff.

This is the best roasted chicken I have ever tasted! I wish there were more choices for sides. Those are tasty but I prefer less starchy carbs. This is a nice location within walking distance of the Pentagon City mall. Ice skate out front in the winter.
