We live close to Trattoria Express so I’ve been here a few times now. Each time I feel as though it’s been just okay. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I love the decor, deli, and the bar. It’s a nice addition but I feel as though it does make the restaurant a little cramped.
I stopped in last night with my partner and my dad. We had Ryan for a waiter and I think he was spread a little too thin as I had seen him behind the bar the whole night. He was by no means rude and clearly busy but it definitely seemed as though he didn’t check in as much as he could have.
As for the food itself it’s always been nice. Not stellar and by far not my favorite Italian places but serviceable. The prices are borderline reasonable to pricey, with my meal being $25. I would say $25 is a little steep for two pieces of chicken. However, the portions are gracious enough to leave you full but not bursting and the food always does taste fresh. My Chicken Sorrentino was good but I didn’t get a lot of prosciutto which was disappointing. I’ll keep coming here because it’s close but if you want amazing Italian food try Federal Hill in Providence.

Amazing food, fun atmosphere and delicious dessert. Unassuming from the outside the inside of this quaint little restaurant is decorated as if you were in a little bistro in Italy…and the food amazingly delicious..

We’ve been several times usually Mother’s Day or special occasions. Customer service was awesome. Our waiter was very friendly nice and helpful. The Alfredo was hot liquid. I watched as my bf tried to eat it as it splashed him. Just hot cream. looked like white water in a bowl. Soda did not have syrup just carbonated so clean the lines etc. I don’t want pale caramel color soda. The dessert strawberry shortcake was really good. The north Attleboro location is far better.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience here. On 12/29/25, we came for dinner and encountered a manager who was extremely rude during an interaction with us.
This wasn’t an isolated issue—every time I’ve visited in the past, the seating arrangement has been poor. Guests are often seated right in the middle of the restaurant, where you’re constantly in the way and feel uncomfortable. Because of these repeated experiences, I no longer come here.
The restaurant seriously needs to improve both its customer service and seating layout. I wouldn’t even give one star, but I had to select it in order to leave this review.

Very unfortunate event. Have been to this restaurant many times and enjoyed. Dined with friends this evening. Had a lovely meal and and wonderful waitress. My friend and I went to use the ladies room after dinner, we had been there for about 3 hours, enjoying the meal and catching up. However, when we went to the ladies room, it was covered in blood. I did not immediately notice but when I did I realized there was blood everywhere, smeared on the table, sink, toilet and all over the handle of the toilet. The restroom was open and no sign saying it was not in use. We left and went to the men’s room to attempt to wash my hands.We passed the managers office who asked what we were doing we told her. She became immediately hostile, told us there was a woman who left in an ambulance and that they had told the patrons seated outside they could use the bathroom next door. We were seated inside and there was nothing to let us know the bathroom should not have been in use. This “manager” became argumentative and told us again a lady had been taken out in an ambulance. We had been there for 3 hours so it had to have happened before we arrived. The bathroom was just left like this, covered in blood AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The “manager” was beyond rude when we informed her and offered nothing except the explanation that a lady had been taken out in an ambulance and the patrons seated outside were told they could use the restrooms next door. This is a health hazard. On top of being treated like you would NEVER wish to be treated by a manager in a restaurant for using a restroom that you had no idea was contaminated. I will be reporting the restaurant to the board of health and unfortunately never revisiting. I would steer clear of this restaurant. It is clear they are not concerned with cleanliness and have no regard for their customers. I am still unclear and confused if this person is actually the manager of a restaurant, as her customer service is beyond deplorable. I will not post the photos here. But will send to the board of health.

A great spot to grab lunch. I order the Italian trio and was happy with the meal. A solid dish. Sauce was soo good, the chicken was a little dry but satisfying.

I needed a half way point to meet someone, and this was the spot we chose! I’m so happy we ended up here because I am ALLLL about fruit in a salad! By far, this was one of the best salads I have ever had! The sweet vidalia onion dressing was the perfect compliment!
It is a beautiful salad too!

Excellent service, and the cuisine is even better. That is right, I said cuisine. I know, you’re saying to yourself “pizza?”, but you have to understand the quality of the ingredients and the unique preparation lend themselves to a dangerous situation. It’s very difficult to not have just one more slice. My special someone and I hummed a series of yums through our meal. The BBQ wings only added to our culinary pleasure. Well worth the wait!
