Always a great place to go. Tina took good care of us, very hospitable and had nice conversations with her. She spoke so highly of the owner and you can tell she loves working there. Had a delightful time and food was delicious.

This was my first time visiting, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. I came in for lunch with my family and the place felt like a typical sports bar. One person at our table received their food much earlier than the rest of us, and the remaining meals took a long time to arrive. When they did, the plates were extremely hot, which made it seem like the food had been microwaved.
I ordered the chipotle steak wrap, and it was very disappointing. The tortilla was greasy and soggy, there was barely any steak, and the wrap mostly tasted like burnt onions and mushrooms. The chipotle sauce added an overpowering smoky flavor that didn’t work with the rest of the dish.
When I told the waitress I didn’t enjoy the meal, she only offered a takeout container, despite a manager previously saying they would fix any issues. After that, she repeatedly walked past our table giving us dirty looks until we paid and left. I wasn’t looking for a refund — I just wanted to give feedback, especially since the dish was her recommendation.
Overall, it was not a good experience, and I won’t be returning with my family

So glad to see finally back. Absolutely fantastic burgers. Homemade very tasty. Not the crappy frozen garbage. I’m writing this review hours later and still comfortably full. Very pleasant staff. Will definitely come back.

The evening was exceptional, and I commend Shelly and the entire staff, especially the little girl Emma, for their outstanding service and for creating such a positive atmosphere tonight. I highly recommend this establishment for its excellent food and the remarkably friendly and accommodating staff and management.

My buddy and I went here on a Saturday afternoon, and it was relatively busy. There was only one bartender, poor girl was probably swamped. We ordered our first round of drinks while we browsed the breakfast and lunch menus given to us. I ordered a vodka and orange juice, and intended on getting breakfast as did my buddy. When the waitress came back, we were told breakfast wasn’t available. Weird, considering we were given the breakfast menu but no worries we’ll order lunch instead. When my drink arrived after a decent wait (reminder only one bartender) I looked at the glass to see there was a very clear lipstick stain on it (see photo below). We told our server who barely apologized and gave us a “oh sorry” like this was a regular occurrence. They replaced the drink and it was fine so we continued on with our meal, which arrived after quite the wait. We finished our meals and drinks and paid the bill. While we were waiting for our ride and just chatting, we ordered one final round of drinks. Imagine my surprise when the same glass came back to me with the lipstick still on the rim. We told the waitress again, who said “oh my god” but that was it. We were kind of surprised there was no attempt to make up for the dirty glass or poor service. No comp of a drink, or a small discount. We were not expecting anything, but it would have been nice considering the experience we had. Being long time locals, we love trying new places that pop up in Fort Erie to support our local commerce but Take 2 was a huge dirty disappointment and ultimately, we will not be back.

A great experience. I asked to bring a small group of-20- or so in after 9pm for some drinks and bar food. They were so accommodating and the food was tasty with reasonable prices. Cold beer too!

For a completely empty restaurant side and less than a handful of patrons on the bar side, the food surpassed my expectations. For the price point, the portions were large, and the quality was impressive. The Philly steak was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever had.
The atmosphere may be totally different on a busy day or bar night, but the pieces of flimsy paper that did not quite cover the surface as booth and table coverings just didn’t work, in my opinion.
The most unnerving thing was the fact that the main door to the small, 2 stall washroom was blocked open, affording no real privacy from anyone entering the restaurant.
Very minor issues truthfully, especially for the excellent quality of the food.
