Was not what I expected. The tamale’s were not seasoned well and a chunk of meat (not shredded) in a huge mass of masa (corn meal mix). For the price of 2, to me was not worth it. Won’t go back.

Ordered four pupusas (two queso con loroco and two revueltas), one tamale and an horchata. Pupusas are very large, curtido is good and red salsa is a little spicy. Tamale was wrapped in banana leaf with pork and was very good. Horchata wasn’t my favorite in town but it was decent.

Parking is a disaster. It’s difficult to find a spot, and the neighborhood is not the best. However, the food is! The selection of the food of the quality is incredible. The service is indeed quite good, but without a good working knowledge of spanish, it is a little tough to get by. The atmosphere is perfect for this quaint, little restaurant. It reminds me of similar places in Central America. Perhaps that’s the goal, and it is well accomplished.

It was okay but I ordered and paid for a combination Plat of chicken and shrimp but they didn’t give me any shrimp. I feel like the knew exactly what they did because where they usually show you your order they didn’t they wrapped it up and put it in a bag then gave it to me. My fault because I should have unwrapped and looked at it but I didnt. I had went there once before and bought some tamales I kid you not I bought three they went good, alright and not very good. I would never go back on top of all that they are not very friendly.

We drove all the way over here from Independence Missouri. They were closed. On Google they didn’t show they were closed. I probably should have called them. I did look at other people’s reviews. That when Google shows that they are open- that they are indeed open.
Pretty bummed as I was interested in some South American cuisine and not just typical Tex Mex cuisine that we can get anywhere.
