I bought raisin bread at Country market in Jackson. I wish it was as good as the reviews I’ve read! It was dry as a bone, I lightly toasted it and it turned to sawdust. I was so disappointed, and I have a whole loaf.

I purchased a loaf of the Rye Bread from the Kroger in Troy and I’m all in. This is definitely some of the best rye bread that I’ve ever had with a nice chew on the crust and it was delicious straight out the bag making my deli sandwich and grilled making a patty melt.

Meals on wheels delivers Knickerbockers multi grain bread to seniors. This bread is hearty and delicious. Our seniors love it. I hope it will be available in locations downriver.

My husband and I love the French bread- it’s very close to an authentic, olde world French bread recipe without all of the unnecessary ingredients found in most of the commercial “French” breads on grocery store shelves. We also love the Michigan Cherry Walnut bread and the Multi-grain. Great products!

On a whim, l bought a loaf of their Strawberry bread at the Eureka Farm Market in Southgate. Unbelievably delicious!!! Soft, moist and very flavorful. I especially loved it with cream cheese! Great for breakfast or an afternoon treat.

Haven’t been to the bakery but Knickerbocker bread is the best, not “gummy” or “doughy” like so many others.

First, I am new to the area and found the Cherry Walnut Bread–DELICIOUS! Bought loaf at Kroger in Troy. Thought it would be a great idea to put this bread in several baskets I was preparing for friends and family for Christmas. Problem is you CANNOT find this bread. I contacted the company via website (under contact us)–no response at all. Website stated the breads could be found at Holiday Market. I called Holiday Market Royal Oak (not knowing there was another Holiday) and they never heard of it. Called the bakery itself and they said they don’t do Holiday Market Royal Oak, and if I wanted to pick up bread from the bakery itself, pick ups are only on Thursday & Friday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and that you had to order on Monday for Thursday or Friday pick up. Today is Thursday — oh well. I give up. As good as the bread is, the customer service isn’t so hot. It should state on the website which Holiday Market carries their breads. Kroger cannot keep enough on hand. Great product, bad customer service.

Knickerbocker breads are by far the best tasting, best quality breads our family has ever eaten. We have been eating Knickerbocker breads for years. One of our favorites is the Michigan Cherry Walnut. They never scrimp on the cherries or the walnuts. We use it for all different kinds of meals. Chicken salad sandwiches, grilled cheese, peanut butter, and jelly sandwiches, we use it for French toast and you’ve got to try it for cream cheese stuffed French toast and just plan toasted. You’ll find it’s hard to pick a favorite because they are all great!
