Good food. I don’t feel gross after eating. Recently when we ordered take out we did not receive the egg roll or crab Rangoon that came with the entree. Fried rice was tiny, literally white rice with soy sauce. Disappointed.

Generous portions for sure! I wanted Chinese food, but something light and ordered Chicken with vegetables and steamed rice. I wasn’t disappointed with the food, but the service was lacking! They don’t have lemons and I had to get up to get my own drink (water) and to retrieve a to go box myself. The food was exactly what I was looking for though! Very surprised at how reasonably priced the menu is as well!

Aikou is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years. I wanted to touch on a couple of notes, the quality of the food being first. I have never had a bad meal at Aikou. Their fried rice is top-tier, especially the combination fried rice. My favorites include generals chicken, combination fried rice, egg drop soup and the crab rangoons. The portion sizes are MASSIVE which is well-appreciated. 10/10. The price of the food is absolutely fair for how much you get. The atmosphere is lax and casual. It is a family-owned restaurant. I have watched the owners children grow up and it’s nice to have that familiarity. I even moved away for 3 years and came back and they still remembered me. That’s service. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

Food was disgusting, made me want to throw up. I ordered Egg Drop Soup, Crab Rangoons, and Orange Chicken… gross. Staff was nice when I picked up my food. I will not return.

The egg rolls are the best. They are fresh and made on the spot. Definitely have to try if you live in lees summit. Great family owned place.

Not good. Never have I ever had dry lo mein. I ordered vegetable lo mein, that’s what I always order. We are new to the area and IDK if this is common or a mistake. Completely inedible. Waste of money. We ordered alot of food, but I couldn’t eat mine at all.

I don’t understand why every time I order Kung Pao it is missing peanuts and spice. Every. Time. The food is good… But seriously… WHY

The food is very overpriced. I was looking at the China King menu and picked out a egg and wonton soup +4 crab Rangoon, I think and it would’ve been almost the same price as 6 pieces of crab Rangoon here…
