Perfect spot on a cold day. One of the most beautiful interiors you could imagine. The food was very yummy, my kids loved the chicken noodle. We had a lovely birthday lunch, even though we hadn’t planned on coming here. We’ll definitely come back!

This is my third location of Pho Anh Vu. As expected high quality… we got greeted at the door with a smile by what looked like owner or manager. Servers also smiled and said hello and were very friendly throughout. Very good too see that. Place is clean and nicely decorated. Pleasant background music. Food is fresh, large portions. Soup was served fast and had a generous portion of meat in it. We got offered a tea. Nice touch. Definitely worth the drive to Hamilton.
Only suggestion I have is that they should offer medium size pho. Large is too big. Good value but it’s enough for two.
Will tell my friends to try this location.

The food was incredibly delicious and the best Vietnamese food I ever head in my life. Fried spring rolls were perfectly seasoned and crispy. It is obvious that chef tastes everything when cooking.

It’s a Fancy Pho. Nice place to have in Hamilton to change it up from PhoDaBo. Their Pho broth not as salty and other places – big plus for me. Meat is really good quality. Many different option to choose from, big portions. Nice atmosphere. It does get busy. Service is fast.
The Pho Anh Vu is a little on the pricey side compared to others – totally worth it.

My favorite spot for pho. The broth is rich and flavorful, and I love that they offer so many easily accessible sauces and fresh in-house pickled garlic/chili, plus diced chili on the side. It’s great being able to customize the spice level instead of being limited to just sriracha like most other places.

As I am sitting here writing this review, I am questioning my reality!
I have experienced something life altering, each slurp has made me forgive those who have hurt me!
Life is about experiencing food like this, and then realizing that you shouldn’t hold grudges against people!
I got the number 15, while there was a number 18 on the table as well! Well made, fresh, you could feel the warmth put into the food!
I would suggest trying the number 22, it’s highly rated aswell!
Will definitely come here again!

We stopped here for lunch while on our way to Niagara Falls. The food was really good and the service was excellent. The young semi tall vietnamese server was very honest. We were about to order two of their special beef rib and giant bone Pho but he said one should be enough for the 2 of us adults. He sure was right, the portion was huge. Overall great experience and food was great, the restaurant itself was very clean and tidy.

Food is absolutely delicious but hard to find the parking especially on the weekends. We tried multiple pay parkings near by but not successfully, the machine didn’t take our credit card. We drove around there around half an hour just to find a parking then gave up and ordered take out instead. My husband still wants to enjoy a date night out so we went to the other restaurant in UpperJames. Dont know why the owner of this restaurant opened it in downtown Hamilton where parking is limited, in the mountains is so much better and not complicated area like in downtown. My husband doesn’t like to go to downtown Hamilton as there are a lot of shootings, fightings and homeless, car accidents, etc… we eat out every week, twice a week with 3 kids and ussually go to the restaurants in the mountains like upperjames or go to Burlington, or Ancaster and will try to avoid Downtown. But because I like the food in this restaurant so much so sometimes my husband drives me there, among 3 times we only got luck with one parking, the other 2 times we had to give up and leave. Going forward I will just order take out for myself and take my family to the other places. The below photo is the food I ordered to go yesterday, absolutely declicous.
