Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 2,500 locations open and under development nationwide, has a long history of community involvement and support. Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s serves authentic East Coast-style subs on fresh baked bread – the same recipe it started with over 60 years ago. The company’s mission is to bring its customers the highest quality, freshest made sub in the industry and give back to the communities in which it operates.

2-24-25: Yes I’m back at Jersey Mike’s Subs for my 23rd time this year since 1-6-25. They have 16 different COLD SUB sandwiches on their menu and I’ve tried 13 of them, the latest was the #12 CANCRO SPECIAL which is one of my favorite Cold Sub sandwiches.There’s only 3 Cold Subs I haven’t tried; #1 BLT, #14 THE VEGGIE, and ROASTED CHICKEN BREAST.
One suggestion I have is to ADD Banana Peppers & Hot Chopped Pepper Relish to any of the Cold Subs. Today I ordered the ROASTED CHICKEN BREAST {Regular, White Bread ; Roasted Chicken Breast Served with Onions, Shredded Lettuce, Tomato, Red Wine Vinegar, Oregano, Oil, & Salt} added Banana Peppers & Hot Chopped Pepper Relish. I ordered Doritos Cool Ranch Chips, and 9-3-9-2-1 P-E-P-S-I {Unofficial Official Drink for Carmel , CA}
Ordered @:10:19 a.m. (Arrives 10:37-10:47)
Arrived @: 10:39 a.m.

Sandwich comes delivered in a sealed (taped) brown paper bag. I unwrap the sandwich and it looks good, nicely made not all sloppy with ingredients falling out of sandwich like other Sub shops {Subway}. I take the top half of the bread off and ADD the Doritos Cool Ranch Chips to the sandwich . This is the Best sandwich hack ever! The bread is so soft and fresh, Roasted Chicken chicken breast is good and all the ingredients taste great with the addition of the Banana Peppers, Hot chopped pepper relish and Doritos Cool Ranch Chips combination of Sweet taste with the added Crunch from the Doritos. Definitely a Sub Above as I finish off 14th Sub off the Cold Subs menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you order a vegetarian sandwich (the veggie #14), they cut your cheese on the same machine they cut the meat on. No wiping off or anything. Found meat pieces in my cheese. Also asked for rosemary parm bread and got white so that was a fun cherry on top. The worst part was how rude the staff was while they were making all these mistakes. Usually Jersey Mike’s folks are super nice. Drive to a different location or grab a sandwich from somewhere else entirely.

Walked in and stepped by the seating area to look at the menu I was asked if I was ready to order twice by two different people, within five mins I was ready so I got in line I ordered four different kinds of sandwiches, three different kinds of chicken and one cold cut sandwich. The cold cut sandwich was made within a couple minutes. The chicken took 12 minutes and while I was waiting inside my head started to hurt from how loud the music was got home to eat And found a black hair in one of the chicken sandwiches instantly lost my appetite. Also, they messed up the order and made two of the chicken sandwiches the same when all of the chicken sandwiches were supposed to be Different. Also, the bread was kind of tough like it was sitting out for too long. by the way, 46 dollars for four regular sized sandwiches No chips no drink. Honestly better off going to Compagnos. I’d rather support a local business than a chain.

Loving the new sub place and it’s taken me so long to leave this overdue review. As I was looking for their phone number to call and see if they had power since power has been going off in the area, I was simply appalled at how many ignorant reviewers there are. As someone who has served in the hospitality business for well over 15 years, the water cup, the complaining about teenagers learning their first job, to the water cups, all these one star reviews from Karen’s are petty. Complaining about water cups when there is a Starbucks next door is redundant. Complaining about kids learning on the job is also redundant. Complaining about “possible” cross contamination- you can tell when people are completely ignorant to state protocols. Every time I’ve been into this establishment, and interacted with the staff, I immediately get the validation that these “kids” understand how important my business and my health is to them. They are proudly working to make my experience an unforgettable and safe one. From watching them wipe EVERYTHING down (and holding up the line) to ensure GF guests are safely served, to switching out gloves to ring me up- not sure why none of these people have a conversation with any of them- Adrian, the GM, will tell you himself how he prides himself on coaching these kids to help them develop their characters as they navigate through school and work. Whether they have someone from corporate or not, I’ve been here plenty of times to say that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting their corporate leaders, they always make you feel like you’re a friend who’s just in for a delicious sandwich, whether my sandwich touched lettuce from the previous sandwich or not, is irrelevant. As long as my sandwich wasn’t made on the floor, I always feel safe ordering a sub from people who take public safety, serious. People need to stay at home and make their own sandwiches if they’re not happy with the store’s protocols, at least your dogs and cats aren’t rolling around this establishment.

Poor service. Ordered ahead online. Took 43 min past my estimated ready time before my order was ready. When I walked in, one other customer was there. While I was waiting, several other customers came in, ordered, and left before I was able to get mine (which was wrong by the way). Wouldn’t have had an issue other than watching an employee talk to a friend on their cellphone behind the counter and the attitude when I asked for my sandwich to be corrected (I had paid for an extra topping and hadn’t received it. Was fine with a refund/just adding the item to the sandwich). The employee corrected the sandwich and tossed it on the counter for me. I understand we all have bad days but this time it was just multiple things that made give a poor service rating.

We had always heard good things about Jersey Mike’s Subs and when it opened in Pacific Grove, we headed over to try it. We were very happy with it! I had the Grilled Portabella and Swiss Sandwich with grilled onions and green peppers and it was fantastic! My husband ordered the Tuna Sub which he loved in a smaller size plus a Turkey Sub Jersey Mike style which he also enjoyed. We downloaded their App and joined their club to accrue points as we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

My original review when they opened was great, but they’ve lost it. Caught them putting raw chicken on the grill and then using the same raw chicken gloved hand to finish another hot sandwich by holding the bread for it. The tongs are color coded for a reason, they should never even touch raw chicken. Staff is not friendly most times, and they are slow and constantly get the order wrong. Plenty of local options that make this place not worth it.

I have been three times now with hopes a new store improves. The food tastes good as I have experienced at every Jersey Mikes I have been from East to west coast. The first time was busy but was good and the grand opening. The second time it was “my fault” I did not ask for bread bc was told every sandwich comes with white unless the customer asks for something different – unlike all other JM I have been which ask me which type of bread. Ok I learned. The third time I went bc received a gift card. I attempted to use gift card only to be told it declined despite me asking to try again bc just received. Instead I was given card back and said sorry so I paid cash. Ok maybe a “mistake” on my end again. Nope. I called to verify had funds and asked manager what I should do. He checked it and said just make sure you swipe it harder next time. Well the swipe was for the employee to do. I was so disappointed and no longer wanting a jersey Mikes sub I left and gave my gift card to next person in line- maybe they will have better luck with an employees swiping abilities and able to enjoy. Seems no one at this site has any accountability for the small things that mean a lot. Although I must mention the person helping me first was polite and polite Ben asked what type of bread with a smile-hopefully his positive attitude will be contagious for the others he works with.

Not friendly. I walked in and asked for my order. I gave them the name. The girl behind the counter is like huh? I said the name again. She repeats a different name back to me. I gave the name a third time. The girl is still like huh? They said maybe you ordered at a different store. Finally I give the name of fourth time. The guy goes oh here it is. Meanwhile, the girl is still ignoring me. Then the guy humorously defends her Incompetence.

Great spot for lunch when picking up my kids from the school. Food is good and place is clean. Not sure what other reviewers saw, but everyone was cleaning each knife and changing gloves quite a bit.
