DO NOT put your boat on their rented dock slips. It will cost you major expenses. Their dock broke two times on us and caused major damage to our new pontoon. $16,000.00 the first time. The cleats we were tied up to broke right off his dock. See photos 4&5. We have the dock cleats that broke off his dock. They advertise security cameras, etc. NONE The owner told us he was too busy cooking in the kitchen to fix the dock and his maintenance man was on vacation. After two weeks he called and said he fixed the dock, however there still were missing cleats to tie up to. He suggested we move to a different slip that he said wasn’t broken. We double secured it this time and also added bungee cords besides our ropes. In one week, the same thing happened to the slip we moved too. We removed our boat from his dock and have contacted the owner several times to report the damage and asked him to reimburse us for the cost of the slip. The owners of this resort are scammers. They have false advertising of what their docks look like on their website. After we put our boat there we went in to eat and their own staff told us they never would put a boat at their establishment. What a nightmare!

Great little lake side bar! Had their 3/4 # burger and it was delicious also had their pulled pork and it was good as well. Good cocktails but as a small town and lake side bar if you like fancy drinks you may need to look up the recipe

Really, most of the food was just ok. I ordered an italian chicken sandwhic. The chicken was the frozen breaded processed chicken. It’s pretty disappointing. Fish was bland and very small portion. Burgers, ok. It’s probably a good drinking spot. Great views. Hoping they can change the quality of the food?

had such a great time here! great pizza, definitely not frozen! drinks are super good, love the arcade area. the cook that brought out my food was very prompt and respectful asking if we need anything else. wasn’t too busy besides one group that was pretty rude to the staff but they handled it professionally which is always nice to see! will be back!

I was so excited to eat there. Last year we came and the food was so good. We were visiting Minnesota again this year and I ordered the same thing as last year. It was not the same. My dad ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and when he got the food it was a cheap bun with chicken strips on it. He picked it up and it all fell apart immediately. He was so upset they also got my Uncle’s order wrong at first. My brother and my aunt got a pizza and it was a frozen pizza not fully cooked. My dad also asked for plates for the pizza because they gave no plates. He simply asked and the person (I think the owner) said ok you don’t need to give me attitude. He did not give attitude just wanted some plates. They also served my 3 year old cousin her food last from everybody else (you should always make the kids food first). She didn’t get her food until we were leaving. We also asked for silverware and it was plastic, not able to cut thru the breading of the chicken strips, and when we asked for condiments they said that we could get them in the OTHER room. The food was not as good and not the same and they also did not turn any lights on for us as we were eating in the dark. Nothing is the same as it was and the owner was very disrespectful. When we asked the waitress if she knew a question she would reply with “i don’t know because I usually work at the bar”. We were very disappointed because it was not the same service and was not the best.

Food was meh at best and took forever to come out. Service was slow for not being super busy, waited way to long for the food, and for the tab. Also it is very spendy. To spendy for most folk. I’d recommend somewhere else

Our last outing, we stopped by the Lakeside Pub. We had appetizers and a couple cocktails. The food was very good, service was great, friendly, attentive and welcoming. I will definitely stop again on our way through Pine City. It was very relaxing!! Loved the tiki bar.

From last year to this year this place went so far downhill I can’t even see it anymore. First of all, there were 9 of us and we all got our food at different times. The pizzas were way undercooked so we just left them which we didn’t even get plates for anyway but it turned out we didn’t need them. They never turned the lights on in the dining area so we ate in the dark. The chicken tenders were overcooked along with the fries. Hope you don’t like condiments in a bottle because all you get are packets. I see why lake appeal is packed and this place was empty.
