Very comfortable atmosphere, you will enjoy your experience.
Whenever I spot goat on a menu, I am there! I didn’t need any coaxing to pretty much lick the plate clean. The owner was so kind and gave me extra injera – though my mom can confirm that I had already eaten more than my fair share. This was a perfectly prepared East African meal. I felt like I was being welcomed to a home table. The injera was made only with teff – which means it is gluten free and super nutritious.
Unexpected combinations of food are what makes life worth living. If you have a chance to eat here, do it!
Loved hearing that they make their ice cream homemade in their kitchen.
I’m seeking and reviewing the best local businesses for Localverse (from Bethlehem, PA). Now adding South Street Creamery to the list!

You have to call a reservation for it because it literally is just one friendly lady making it as a passion project but it’s just like the places we remember in the city, grabbing that flavorful food in pieces of the injera pancake, absolutely should give it a try.
The Creamery is also connected to a restaurant called Red Sea that serves Eritrean/Ethiopian cuisine. I, as a foodie and long time restaurant worker, was intrigued to view their menu and learn about this type of cuisine. I love seeing different restaurant ideas! To me it shows a huge sense of creativity and innovation.

We met Amleset, who shared how happy it makes her to serve Eritrean food that she would be proud to share with her family, friends, and the community in Morristown.
She’s definitely earned a new customer in me! Thank you for an amazing meal and sharing your passion for this amazing food, Amleset.
** the Teff is gluten free, has a great texture and tang, and is so fun to eat! I loved the experience of eating my plate
