Best Italian food I have had, ever. No questions asked. You can tell this food is the real deal. Pricing was a little on the high side, but what you get for food and flavors it’s totally worth it. If your in Grand Forks for anything g or live here this place is must.

I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday. It was wonderful! The nice warm bread they brought out was very good, the meatballs had whole milk mozzarella, the tiramisu cake was delicious. Just the meatball appetizer was way better than anything I’ve had at Olive Garden. So much flavor, and rich. Very high quality food. Prices were reasonable as well. My server was Haley. She was very kind and friendly, and took good care of everyone in the place. Loved it. I’m going back tonight, this is the best Italian food I’ve had in this area so far!

Every couple months my wife and I get a date night, and the last three times this is where we have gone to eat. The wine selection is not only good, but quite affordable per bottle. We make it a point to try a new dish when we dine and have not been disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed. We plan on making this our date night spot going forward. Don’t go in rushed to eat, enjoy yourself and relax.

Pros – ambience, location
Cons – price for what you get, simple fare, quality of ingredients

I enjoyed this restaurant very much. It had a romantic and quiet atmosphere and the service was good. I did not, however, enjoy this meal. These are basic dishes with simple ingredients and underwhelming flavor. My three meat lasagna was mostly cheese. The bread is a simple store loaf cut into slices. The sangria was nothing more than white wine with fruit flavored sparkling water. Quantity (again, for what you pay) is too little. I probably won’t visit this restaurant again, but it would make a decent date spot.

We at here a few years ago and found it really good food.
We again tried it on Saturday evening for dinner. My wife had a salad that came with such a light touch of salad dress that with her refined taste could barely taste it.

I and my granddaughter ordered the meatball and pasta dish and my granddaughter refused to eat it because it was very dry and tasteless. I ate mine only because I was really hungry but also found that the meat was awful and dry and the marinara sauce was out of a can.

I see people have given this restaurant a great rating but for me and my family, it was awful.

The service was fair as our server was not attentive at all.

I would rank this as an absolutely first-class restaurant. Great menu, very good service, and reasonable prices. It’s a relatively intimate setting but definitely not too formal, really suitable for all occasions. This is a real gem and does a city the size of Grand Forks credit. Highly recommended!!!

The food is carefully made and the daily specials offer interesting new choices for those that are tired of the usual menu options. The small seating area and pleasant servers keep the atmosphere feeling very warm. An excellent location for a romantic dinner.

Another Gem. This place is great. Any complaint you may have about the diversity of the menu or drink selection is satisfied by the realization that are at an actual restaurant someone loves enough to have opened it. The food is simply amazing and the service is great. Date, last minute dinner, or just in the mood for something home cooked, this is the place.

My husband and I just got back from another incredibly decadent meal at Giuseppe’s. We were greeted at the door with a big smile by the charismatic Molly who has served us before and often times remembers our favorite dishes. For those of you who haven’t been to Giuseppe’s in the last 4 or 5 years you may be in for a big surprise. The new owner took it over about three years ago and changed the whole look of the restaurant as well as the entire menu. Giuseppe’s now has a very urban vibe to it yet remains warm and cozy with old world charm such as floor to ceiling red velvet curtains, antique chandeliers and ornate tin ceilings from the early 20th century. All of the menu items are made from scratch and can be tweaked or tailored for special dietary restrictions such as offering gluten free pasta. The service is impeccable as we only had to wait ten minutes for our entree’s to arrive. The prices are reasonable, the wine list is great and the food is amazing! The absolute perfect place for a date or a romantic night out. It is truly Grand Forks’ hidden gem!

We’ve been here a few times and every dish has been great. Our server each time was Nathan and he’s very, very good at his job. A++ restaurant. Notable spaghetti and meatballs. Lasagna. Chef’s Specialties.
