Great food. Kids meal of fried shrimp and veggies was amazing. Sea bass was so succulent it tasted like Chilean. And the pork chop was super moist and sizable. Fries were shockingly good too. Manhattan didn’t skimp on the whiskey.

Seriously delicious! We were traveling from NJ back to Nova and I asked chat GPT where the best place to go was on that route for seafood! We are so happy we stopped by definitely worth the slight 10 minute detour! Highly recommended! It’s got a really cute local mom and pop vibe and they really care about there customers and there food was amazing!

The crab cakes are the best I’ve ever had! The coleslaw is great! French fries far above standard. Our server, Jadie, was extremely helpful and very friendly. We will definitely stop here again if in the area. We did not have reservations and there was no wait. If it is a busy time, you should probably make reservations. I included the receipt so you can see exactly what we ordered. Nice antique shops in the area, too. The lighthouse is just down the road a bit.

First time visit, definitely not the last. Went out for wedding anniversary dinner, ordered bacon wrapped scallops and crab hush puppies for starters, both were excellent, particularly the scallops. Then came house salads, about half the greens were wilted and unappetizing in mine, otherwise food would have had 5 stars. Salt Life Pasta with marinara was so good, the scallops were tender not tough, the shrimps were perfectly cooked, not rubbery, the lump crab was sweet and almost melt in your mouth tender, a beautiful dish. The Maryland crab cake was also nicely seasoned, about a 5 ounce cake. Also, very nicely decorated for Christmas. Will have to visit for lunch some time to experience the waterfront view.

The atmosphere was amazing. Our group sat on the patio for lunch. Our server was awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. We split the hush puppies crab cakes and the crab bread bowl. The crab cake sandwich was amazing. Cooked just right. I would recommend and we will come back when we are in town.

Absolutely need a reservation for anything but bar seating or expect a long wait, but we were treated well at the bar! Fun drinks and the most delicious seafood. Highly recommend the seafood cheesesteak – it’s messy but so tasty. Or for similar tastes and a more traditional meal, the seafood pasta is a great choice. Staff were great and food took a little while but not too long, felt reasonable. Parking lot on site.

We came for lunch (around 1:30pm) and were able to walk right in and be seated immediately without a reservation. Delicious food, an incredible view, and very nice wait staff! Will definitely come back if in the area again!

Stormy day turned into the best seafood night!

We were seriously crossing our fingers all day that the power would come back on in Havre de Grace after the storm—and thank goodness it did, because our dinner at Water Street Seafood was so worth it!

We started with the crab hush puppies (yum!) and the calamari, which was super tender and perfectly crispy—not greasy at all. The cioppino was loaded with flavor and fresh seafood, the rockfish was cooked just right, and the bacon-wrapped scallops were out of this world. Oh, and do NOT skip the cream of crab soup—best we’ve had in a long time.

Great vibes, friendly service, and amazing food. Total win of a night!

I wish I could leave a five-star review, but due to cross-contamination with gluten, I cannot. From the start, I told my waiter I am gluten-free. He gave recommendations, and I trusted his guidance. My friend and I ordered the same dish, with the only difference being that she got bread and I ordered gluten-free pasta.

When the food arrived, I asked the server who delivered it to confirm that the pasta was gluten-free. He allegedly checked with the cook and assured me it was. Later, my waiter also confirmed the same. Despite these assurances, about 30 minutes after eating, I became violently ill.

This was not just a minor mistake—it was a serious health issue that could have been avoided with proper attention to food safety.

Update for the owner: Thank you for your response. This was not a false review. I will be calling on Wednesday when you all are open.

Additional update: I’m adding pictures of my meal that I had. The Water Street Cioppino is what is in question due to being told before the meal was served and after it was served that the pasta that you see in the picture was 100% gluten free

I came this past weekend for a festival. We were really excited to try here, made a reservation, and everything was going smoothly. We were sat at the Smith Island table and Caden R was our server.

It was my friend and I dining together, and she has a gluten allergy. We spoke with Caden after reviewing the menu and had him discuss the gluten free options with us further. He gave recommendations and we ordered.

We had a dozen oysters, a Cesar salad, and the Water Street Cioppino. I also, had the crab hush puppies. They were absolutely phenomenal. The oysters were good too. The salad was just okay. Nothing over the top special. The cioppino for me was delicious. We also got the gluten free mousse and tiramisu to go.

When they brought our food, we asked the food runner and Caden again on the gluten free. We just wanted to confirm again since they seemed nervous. They confirmed that it was gluten free and left.

Here’s where things got tricky. I do not have any food allergies and everything was great for me. However, my friend has a gluten allergy, and she either got something that had been cross contaminated or her gluten free items were not actually gluten free. Our server, Caden, did seem to stumble over us questioning him about food items. Within 20-30 minutes of us leaving my friend was VIOLENTLY sick for hours. This was the only place we had eaten for the day. It wasn’t a stomach bug or anything like that. It was a clear case of an allergic reaction to gluten for her.

With all of that in mind, would I come here again if I’m not with people that have allergies? Yes. The food I had was great. However, if you have allergies or sensitivities, I would be leery and mindful.
