I love the pistachio ice cream here! It’s hard to find great tasting pistachio ice cream. Was just there on 07/13/2023 and I wasn’t disappointed. My daughter and GS shared a I think salted caramel with rainbow Jimmies. We both only got 1-scoop each. Nestled on the other side of the bridge next to the merry-go-round in Historic Smithville Village. Has indoor seating but no tables. Outside there are picnic tables.

I traveled to New Jersey for a wedding and had some downtime off. Scoops is near the colonial inn where there are lots of little shops to walk around. There was a nice view of the water and we tried the ” jersey devil” sundae. The ice cream was great and the gentlemen working there was nice. They are cash only

I was there on a very busy day; the workers were professional and took care of my order very fast. The location is ideal… Just footsteps away you can enjoy your sundae at a picnic table overlooking the ducks and the swans swimming below.

I stop here every trip to Smithville. Sadly they lost me yesterday, we went in for milkshakes, stood and waited for minutes, said Hello twice. Could see someone in the back sitting with their knee up, doing something on their phone. There was a fam of 6 inside enjoying their ice cream and a couple was leaving as we walked in shaking their heads. ♀️

We were here for Oktoberfest. Me, my wife,and 3 kids. Myself and my oldest daughter both had milkshakes and honestly it had to be the worst shake I ever had. I asked for a large pumpkin shake on the thicker side. Not only did it not taste like pumpkin at all, because of the milk they must of added, it also turned white and not thick either. My daughter asked for chocolate, and hers also was watered down and barely had any chocolate flavor. My wife 2nd daughter and son all had cups of ice cream and they were fine. I was just so disappointed after spending $36 bucks and wouldn’t mind paying the high prices if it was halfway decent. I’m am not 1 to complain, but when your paying $7.45 a shake and there both terrible. The owner needs to know,and I didn’t want to make a seen having them remake the shakes,but after I got home I wished I did! We have been here before,but this was the 1st we experienced their Milkshakes. It also seemed like they jacked the prices up just for the Oktoberfest weekend being all the prices were taped over. But like I said I wouldn’t mind the higher prices if I got my moneys worth and now I’m sorry I didn’t have them remake the shakes because I would rather write a good review!

I asked for a banana split and the person attending didn’t bother to ask what flavor we wanted just put 3 scoops of whatever flavor she wanted, don’t waste your time and money at this place.

Arrived at shop an hour before closing to get milkshakes and they weren’t making any because they cleaned the blender early. I don’t live close and came out of my way for nothing. Who does a 10 min job an hour before you close.

We were entering the store when I heard who I assumed was the owner speaking rudely to an employee about the trash outside. She was young and looked like she was working hard and his attitude was off putting. I understand wanting the outside of the restaurant to be clean, but the way he went about it made me instantly turn around and leave. My mom and I agreed we didn’t want to give our business to an employer like that. To the girl he was rude to, you’re doing amazing sweetie.
