In my opinion this is the nicest, classiest bar in Baltimore.
It’s so beautiful inside. Hard to take it all in. Beautiful marble. A beautiful piano. Great drinks and all at a really shockingly good price.
The color scheme is so lush. And while it feels remarkably upper class I always felt comfortable no matter what I was wearing.

Stopped in for brunch on our way to flower mart and absolutely loved it! The room is absolutely gorgeous with deep red walls made from stone, nice furniture choices and beautiful ceilings. Really great vibe that reminds me of Dirty French in Miami. The food and service were both excellent. This place is pretty new but already punching well above their weight class.

Had the most wonderful
experience here! Rex is incredible, gave great recs and made a perfect martini. Ambiance is lovely and the entire hotel is detailed to perfection.

Had a great mini-breakfast here before heading to my event. Great service and conversation — very friendly! Highly recommend this cafe AND the hotel… it’s gorgeous!

Delightful like no other dining room!! I stayed at the hotel because I was so drawn to the style after visiting the New Orleans location. Baltimore’s did not disappoint. The hotel is a little dark and moody, with color brought in through surprising details (teal tiles with blank sink & shower?!). But on to ash bar – incredible! It just drips with exclusivity from the entrance. The dining room is blocked off from view by an old school folding partition. Once you’re seating the excitement starts. The service is impeccable. The staff are too cool and gracious. We sat for brunch. Benedict, French toast, 24 hour pressed potatoes. Enjoy this place!! And dress for breakfast, the glamour of the room deserves it.

Had a great experience at Ash Bar, stayed in the hotel and popped down for happy hour. Drinks were amazing and Rex (I hope I spelled that right) was the best bartender! Would highly recommend.

Perfect spot, especially if you’re staying at the hotel. The 24 hour pressed potatoes were the highlight for sure. Also tried the homemade sausage and a side of asparagus and both were delicious. The potatoes and sauce that accompanied the sausage made for really well-balanced flavors. As a bonus, you’re given crayons to color on your paper table covering and I wish more places allowed adults this fun.

This is good bar in the ulysses Hotel. Every time I’ve come, it’s been near empty which is a bummer because the drinks are drunk and the food is good.
Being that it is not very packed, that affects the atmosphere which means you have the bring the energy you want to have in this bar. The music is low, the lighting is very comfortable but I can’t say it’s a very “fun” bar. It’s a good bar in a very nice hotel. The bartender is great!

This Ultra art-deco experience is a hidden gem for a lush cocktail in the dimly lit chatter of a historic hotel. The vibes are absolutely immaculate for those who find this hidden gem. The bartender helped my friend shake the perfect martini. The cocktail I had was a bourbon based delicious cocktail.

Only 2 people working during Sunday brunch. Long wait, terrible coffee, dirty tables with stained napkins are extremely unfortunate for the price one pays to stay at Ulysses. This hotel is beautiful but the service completely missed the mark. And the food was not good at all.
