We did not eat at Aunt Kate’s, because there was over an hour-long wait on a Saturdaynight, March 2026. We did enjoy the atmosphere, however. It is located right on the river, offering great scenic views. The Usina Park pier and boat ramp is next to, and behind the restaurant. Very pretty place, bustling with familes.

You can’t see Aunt Kate’s from the Hwy, so write this down: 612 Euclid Ave, St. Augustine, FL. Thank me later. We wound up here for lunch because a competitor was closed to re-hab their kitchen and suggested them. If you dine outside on one of their decks, you’ll have a spectacular view of the Tolomato River. Walk out on the pier at USINA Park next door. Now the food here is expensive, even for vacay food. However, it’s one of the best seafood meals we’ve had in years. The food was excellent and so was our server. When they ask if you want bread, say YES!!Johnnycakes, datil pepper cornbread, and pumpkin bread. I even asked for extra pumpkin bread because it was so good. No one is dressed too fancy here, and they are pet-friendly in specific areas. Aunt Kate’s offers seafood, steaks, sandwiches, and salads. Local’s favorite dishes include fried shrimp, gator bites, she-crab soup, and the seafood platter. We did get the Seafood platter- those crab cakes! We also ordered the meatloaf, sweet potato fries, and a catfish finger appetizers. We enjoyed the leftovers for dinner. Aunt Kates is our new fav and a must do in St. Augustine.

Beautiful spot and a okay variety on the menu but very limited locally caught options which was a bummer-considering location. However- they will cook your fish for you if you catch them. Cornbread is the best part if you’re a bread lover like me. Portions are large too.shrimp and grits had an amazing flavor- could’ve used a bit less gravy because it takes away from how good the grits are. My low rating is for the service I had. Server was pretty inattentive and could have upsold me if she’d come by the table more than just to get my order and money.

We had an awesome lunch here. The staff was great. The food even better. We had the crab cakes and a fried flounder club sandwich. I didn’t think that bacon and flounder would go well together, but it did. The crab cakes had an altogether different seasoning and were very good. The bread basket was also delicious and unusual. It included jalapeno corn bread, Johnny cakes and pumpkin bread . The location and view were relaxing and beautiful. Parking was plentiful. When we went, the outside area was closed for repair.

If I could give more stars I would! I heard this place was a great fish place I didn’t have a super wide variety of fish menu… What it had was good! Great atmosphere great service! Our fried pickles ahi appetizer were phenomenal! She had the blackened mahi sandwich, so said was perfect I had mahi tacos, which… Were great. She was ecstatic because they had pickled beets as a side and my black beans and rice were delicious! Sorry no room for dessert. They did sound wonderful tho! We sat in the enclosed porch with the heater on I’d have to say it was pretty romantic! Looked like a fairly good cocktail menu also. OH.. We loved the bread basket on the different kinds of breads and the honey butter… The wife think spread is evil (hahaha) but she dove into that bread basket and was very happy! Homemade davil s Sauce was good too.

Our local St Augustine relative took us to this Hidden gem.
Our server is amazing and knows everything and gave us good recommendations to order and did not disappoint at all.
The location is the best and our kids get to play next to the water while waiting our food. They serve bread as appetizers and we love that corn bread variety with butter on the side.

Highly recommend ordering the Salad with blackened fish and fried crocodile meat to taste.

I have visited Aunt Kate’s in St Augustine several times and it has always been a great experience. The view is beautiful, right by the water, and the seafood is excellent and very well prepared. The service is consistently great, friendly, and attentive. It is an excellent place for lunch with a relaxing bay view, and just as enjoyable for dinner when all the lights are on and the atmosphere feels special. A place I am always happy to return to.

Recommend have dinner outside so you can have a great view of the water, especially at sunset.

The food is large in size and fresh. Recommend the fried green tomatoes. Tha basket of breads (variety) they give you at the table is also very delicious.

Very fun restaurant for dinner! We got seating on the back deck and the vibes were phenomenal! We got the Seafood platter and the Shrimp basket, we were very happy with both.
Seafood Platter (Broiled): the best parts were definitely the shrimp, scallops, and the mahi. The crab cake was okay, very doughy, not my favorite. The fries were fantastic, loved those!
Shrimp Basket: We swapped normal fried shrimp for the coconut shrimp and also swapped for sweet potato fries. The coconut shrimp was great, we were very happy with that choice. The sweet potato fries were unique, in stead of salt, they seasoned them with sugar. I personally didn’t love that, but it did make it sweet.
We loved coming here!
