Reviews
One of the best Briyani Restaurant in and around Anna Nagar – Chennai.
We tried 3 Briyani types.
They Briyani’s are flavours and textures to the Aroma in deep. Especially Fire Briyani Top-notch
Service was quick and good.
Valet parking Available.
The place was very neat and tidy. The air conditioning was optimum and the staff courteous, warm and smiling. The decor was normal but nice and made us comfortable.
My colleagues ordered a Mutton biriyani and I decided to try the chicken Thali, which allowed me to try small portion of a few dishes. The portion could be re ordered as per appetite but one serving was good enough for me. The food was super tasty and the waiter even spoke to me in Hindi and he was fluent which made me pleasantly surprised.
I also ordered their soda bottle and it was really nice. The fun is to push a ball inside the bottle and the soda pops out. Simple things of life, yet brought some memories of childhood.
I really loved the restaurant and I am definitely coming back.
They are great in terms of service as well. I wish they extend their kari dosa options for lunch as well. Overall this place is a 4/5 and definitely a must boat place for biryani
Chicken pepper soup ⭐️⭐️
Kozhi varuval briyani ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chicken majestic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Parotta with Chicken curry⭐️⭐️
Rose falooda⭐️⭐️
Tender coconut mousse⭐️
Apricot pudding⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The chicken soup was 1 by 2 and it was okayish, Peppery thick soup.
Kozhi varuval briyani was similar to Andhra Gunpowder briyani shop. It was subtle rice with separate masala.
Parotta with Chicken curry was average one. Wasn’t what I expected
Chicken Majestic was tangy and it had taste similar to south Indian lemon rice with all those same tangy and spices
Tender coconut mousse was the worst. It had no tender coconut flavor nor any taste. It was just bland mousse
Rose falooda was too sweet for me, too much sugar content like jelly, icecream, Rose syrup everything was too much
Lastly, Apricot pudding that was a decent one. It had mild sugar content and it was almost like shahi tukda feel.
Price was bit high to the taste of the food. Every taste of these dishes can be found in normal restaurants not only in these fancy restaurants.
The total bill was 2090 which was bit high to the taste which was served. Finally, never trust paid promotions from these influencers
Service is fast.
Must try with family and friends
Price – 160 (5/5)
Guntur kodi kebab(4/5) – super soft chicken, and the mayo/green dip(5/5) – great flavor, though there’s no spice, but could feel the masala flavour. Quantity wise it’s good for 1 person(6 pieces). Quantity wise it can be improved. Price – 330(4/5).
Kozhi varuval briyani(2/5) – well that’s a let down, hyderabadi style rice and the chicken thokku (pieces) were less in quantity, rice was flavorless (my only disappointment) Price – 345(not worth the price)
Mutton biriyani(5/5) – So much impressed with this one . The rice had a great flavor(5/5), masala’s were blended with rice, the mutton pieces(5 – 6 peices) were soo soft and well cooked. Quantity| quality (5/5), would be perfect for 1 person
Price – 375(5/5 – must try!!!)
Egg podimass(4/5) – the taste, the freshness, the flavor, it’s not spicy not it has masala. But it had a unique taste. Quantity for 1 person.
Price – 120(5/5)
Gulabjamun with ice cream(5/5)
Price – 105(5/5)
Overall experience (4/5) – The cozy ambience and the great food made my day.
