We ordered the calamari, lobster ravioli, and linguine in clam sauce. We loved the flavor of the calamari. Our friend recommended the one with banana peppers and it was delicious. A lot of the breading had fallen off though. It only went steeply downhill from there. The lobster ravioli sauce was fine but inside had barely any lobster and the pasta was so thick that it was too hard and undercooked. WAY too expensive for 6 ravioli with a pittance of lobster inside. Even worse was the linguine in clam sauce. A mountain of completely flavorless pasta and clams in a flavorless broth. If I’m going to spend $100 on dinner, I expect it to bare minimum taste good. The atmosphere was nice but doesn’t make up for the food, which is why I come to a restaurant.

Went for bday dinner with family
Only 2 waiters on duty both over 70 which is fine it when service is slow and at times just non-existent and then they serve you a $44.95 special with 2 naked stuffed shrimp and 5 small scallops where first bite is ad overwhelming, pungent of ammonia and had to be spit onto napkin…one had to post a review. Horrible from start to finish…the entire experience. Out of 4 entrees avdcond appetizer only the app and 1 of the entrees were “okay” . Nothing at all was seasoned, no taste…theveaiter didn’t even flinch when we told him about the ammonia scallops….s if not the first time he has ever heard this. Ruined the birthday dinner…nobody wants to try to flag a waiter down avdctepirt the horrendous the entrees you want to enjoy the entire experience and not have to go thru everyone eating at different times. Totally horrible fo not know how they stay on biz

No thanks. My birthday dinner was terrible. Seafood casserole was bad. One bite and overwhelming smell of ammonia from my scallop. My son’s Alfredo had no flavor and was watery. Even the pesto needed salt. Bland calamari. So disappointed. Our waiter was nice but it was slow service cuz he was the only one in the dining room They were short staffed. Never again

On Valentine’s Day night I had one glass of strawberry daiquiri sangria. It was very strong & didn’t taste like rum or wine, just a very strong unidentifiable alcohol. I was completely intoxicated before I left the restaurant & was sick all night. I normally have a very high tolerance for alcohol so this was extremely odd. Our waiter also noted that a patron in another room was so intoxicated that he needed help getting up to leave. Not sure what he had, but something was not right with the drinks that night. After this terrible experience I will not be returning to Aquilantes which is a shame as I previously had very positive experiences.

Grilled chicken was the best part of my Alfredo – tremendous flavor. Sauce was very fresh tasting, and portion size was off the charts. Seemed a bit pricey for the vibe but with portions in consideration, it was a great deal. Service was fantastic!

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BILL!!!! For some reason, they still use pen and paper for their checks. Twice now, this waiter, Rich, has tallied our bill wrong. One time, mistakes happen, but twice? Bill is written in chicken scratch, and was hardly legible. I should’ve had him check the bill in front of me but he went back and told me he accidentally double charged me for something. It’s a shame because my family and I loved the atmosphere and the food(this time, not so much). But I can’t go to a place where I can’t trust the staff. Other people have posted similar complaints. I’m starting to wonder if the archaic pen and paper method is being used to upcharge people. My family and I, sadly, will not be going back there.

What a perfect way to close 2022 and welcome the New Year. Food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. We had cod francais, seafood Fran diavolo, and porcini mushroom ravioli with chicken and wild mushrooms (not sure exact name ). The portions are huge. Seafood and fish are so so fresh!!!! Literally melts in the mouth. And although we were “stuffed” we couldn’t resist the deserts. Absolutely worth a try even if you have to have to go.
The best was our waitress Lynn!!! Very welcoming, extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I actually told her that I trusted her to surprise me with my dinner since everything looked delicious. And she overdelivered.
The whole experience was magical. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area again

I did a pick up for fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I get there to pick it up. And understand why they don’t put the price on the menu.35$ for 1 fettuccine Alfredo w “added” chicken. Smallest peice of meat lost in a pound of pasta in a cheese sauce that has 0 flavor….equivalent to paste, for 35$!!!!! Never again!
