This is i think the only yings i know around jacksonville. We used to have a couple locations but they sadly closed over the years. This place used to be opened inside but after covid they refuse to open it back up.. The food is Good and quality is 8/10! i order most of the time Boneless Spare Rib Tips, with White Rice or Chicken n Broccolli With White Rice and it comes out good!! Wait time 5 – 10 mins and fast too!! Inexpensive and its best to go in my opinion on Saturdays 🙂 Definately worth going again and again!!! 10000000 Star Rating!!!

Ordered takeout so this review is solely based on the food. I ordered sesame chicken, fried rice and egg roles. The egg roles were great, but the sesame chicken was extremely mediocre. It was so mushy it was no longer “fried/crunchy”. Not only was it mushy but it didn’t taste good and neither did the fried rice.

I’m not sure who’s posting these reviews with a rating of 4+. Since the restaurant is located in a prime spot, I had high expectations for the food. I ordered fried rice, chow mein, sesame chicken, and beef. The fried rice was bland, and the chow mein was overly salty. It felt like they were just throwing random ingredients together and calling it Chinese cuisine. I strongly advise you to avoid this restaurant at all costs.

The only thing that i didn’t like was we arrived at the restaurant at 730 and tried to dine in but couldn’t. The lobby shouldn’t of been closed until 9pm. It was on the front door. Other than that the drive through service was fast and efficient. The person taking orders and giving us our food was friendly. Over all it was a good experience.

Very pleasant service — they even included a delicious gift with the order. Even at 10:30 PM, the food was tasty, fresh, and hot 🙂

Great Chinese food, egg rolls, chili oil, and their Pad Thai, too. Comparatively, open much later than other nearby Asian eateries when ordering pick up via Uber Eats.

I’ve been getting takeout for years, and everything has been amazing. I’ve tried many different things from shrimp fried rice and egg foo young to general tso’s chicken to krab goons and fried shrimp. Everything you order will be hot and fresh, and the portions will be large. Prices are low, too! The employees are always super nice and friendly. This place doesn’t look fancy, but the food is delicious!! Give it a try. You’ll be happy you did! 10/10

Food is always good at ying’s! Drive-thru only and now closed on Tuesdays, but always quick service hot food, and the don’t put nasty peas in the fried rice!! We love ying’s and the nice ladies at the window know who we are when we pull up to the window, awesome customer service!

ying’s chinee takee outee is a jacksonville legend. they’ve been around for 30-40 years and they still have the best americanized-chinese food in the city.

their beef and broccoli tastes like my childhood and i would trust them with my life. i can’t even eat americanized-chinese takeout from other restaurants because i just get reminded of how much better ying’s is.

amazing service, dirt-cheap for large tasty portions, and an almost non-existent wait time for your food. easily 10/10, my favorite takeout spot in this city, just don’t eat here every day because it’s not good for your health

FYI: they are takeout-only, no dining room, and their forks are kinda flimsy. be ready to eat in your car/at home/a picnic, or maybe eat in the Dairy Queen dining room across the street.
