I go every Friday with my dad, and the little Chinese lady that works behind the counter is my best friend. I believe her name is Mrs Mei (think that’s how it’s spelled) and the highlight of my week is driving fifteen minutes to stand there for two minutes and say hi to her. She always seems so happy to see us, and recently I even bought her a snickers bar. The next week I came back, she had a whole stand of bracelets and said “I got this for you!” Anyway, food is amazing. The service is amazing, and prices are not bad. Great restaurant.

Holly Molly! By far the greatest place to get Chinese food. They were fast and Curtis and the food came out fresh and with so much flavor. The bourbon chicken was so dang good. The fried rice was seasoned and not bland at all. Close to town with easy in and out parking lot. Right off bemiss makes it an easy stop for dinner.

As a long time takeover customer @ Taste of China (TOC), Bemiss Rd. Saturday, 11/08/25 my wife & I agreed to once again select TOC for our quick and USUALLY delicious Chinese dish.
We both ordered platters, but with different meat. It comes with the same yellow rice (fried rice?).
The meal was terrible tasting to both of us. Something was really wrong with the flavors of both dishes. Disgusting taste…
We both nibbled on the meats, hers tyso chicken, mine a spicy beef dish.
When we couldn’t stand anymore, I called TOC and told of the nasty flavor. Old oil or scorched wok. The female gringo that answers the phone past on our complaint to the Chinese female. I was told: “Bring the food back and you get money back”.
I told we ate most of the meat and left the rice and already tossed the plates. You would have thought that TOC would have gotten my number and offered some type of future compensation. NOPE
I guess specializing in only takeout allows you to NOT remember or feel responsible to compensate returning customers when utilizing, maybe expired food products. The odds are with TOC that anyone will return nasty food. No connection to your customers. I sure TOC won’t read this. My guess is that they’re service, quality and cooking burnout just might be the problem.

I paid $20.00+ for old, microwaved, burnt, rock-hard sesame chicken and cold (not fried) rice. I’m disgusted!!! Never again!
This is a PERFECT example of:
“Tell me WITHOUT telling me YOU DON’T WANT MY MONEY!”
One thing is for sure…
You DON’T have to tell me TWICE!
All of these 5 star reviews have to be fake. You know you are lying!
How is a company this confident serving food like this.
The GDA & FDA need to inspect this place.
My sesame chicken looks nothing like those pics advertising the meal.
I need to report this to the 6 o’clock news & Valdosta Times.

I bought shrimp fried rice, and was definitely not Chinese! It was more like yellow rice with shrimp. I’m a Chicagoan and Chinese rice, didn’t even have a taste of soy sauce. Definitely my last time going.

The black pepper chicken was so good! As well as the vegetable lo mein. Food was hot and fresh! Despite some of the other comments I saw, the place looked super clean, and the staff was extremely friendly.

Usually they do a standard good job. It’s chinese takeaway so I don’t expect incredible high end food. Out of 20+ orders over the years only had the rice be hard once, other than that no other issues so pretty good.

Our favorite little Chinese Restaurant here in town! They make the best Singapore Mei Fun here in Valdosta and my husband loves their Beef and Broccoli and Shrimp rolls.

This place has yummy food, but they have gotten ridiculous with their pricing! I tried to order an entree and was told it would be an extra $6.50 to upgrade the rice to a half pint of pork fried rice. I’ve done this several times in the past and I thought the $3 up charge on s pint before was a bit much, but $6.50!!! Make it make sense that adding some veggies and maybe 2 tablespoons of pork is worth $6.50!!!

Excellent food! The server did not have a recommendation of what to pick from the menu though. The menu is huge and hard to believe the server didn’t have anything to recommend.
