Koi started small many years ago and grew because of its excellent food and prices. Several years back that quality dropped off, but after several recent visits I feel it’s back. Though not a 5 star, the food and service is good. What makes it even better is that the pricing is still reasonable, unlike most Cabo sushi spots. The sushi is good, the ingredients are fresh. The cooked food and yakimeshi rice are often a bit too salty, but still good. Solid experience.

I guess their getting too busy and popular. We are regular customers to come here. We had a problem with the uncleaned shrimp in the mixed Tempura dish. My wife ate into a shrimp that had shrimp waste in it. So she asked for the shrimp to be replaced. The waiter/manager brought two shrimp, instead of the three remaining ones, or the four shrimp as part of the original plate. The manager refused to even replace the three shrimp. I went over to talk the manager incharge and it was the waiter. He told me that we always complain when we come here. I said we love this place. He says I don’t think so. I showed him my five star rating and about the videos and all. The manager still was negative and putting us down. Maybe they got too big for being nice to their customers! What a shame for this to happen! Only him as a waiter with three bus people to service the whole room. Maybe is over worked!
This is our go to place for great sushi rolls. We can’t wait to come here for the best sushi. Alex roll for us is to die for. Some people think that it too much tastes going on, but for us it’s a dream come true!
I must say this place is wonderful! The Alex roll has it all. Great tasting and at a great price. One of the best, if not the best roll, we have eaten. Some people think it has too much favor. That’s what makes the world go round!

What a treat to have freshly made sushi here in Cabo. Right next to Walmart in the food court. The service and food was great! We had a soft crab spider roll and shrimp tempura. The shrimp tempura was only shrimp without the tempura vegetables. It was very delicious. Well done, I must say!

The hostess received us with a bad attitude and no desire to work.
The food was good. We’ve been coming here for years and the food has always been consistent. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced.
The dishes take a while to come out, even though the place was not full. Lots of flies!

This definitely was a great find. Considered a locals restaurant. It’s in a strip mall by the big Walmart. It’s definitely a hidden gem. From the variety of options to the quality and freshness I can see why the locals go there. Also the affordability was an added bonus. Will be back soon!

A friend recommended this place and said it’s one of the best sushi places in Cabo. It is pretty good, but to be fair I am not a big fan of sushi. I got the tempura and rice which were great, and a spicy roll. A little to soft for me, but some other rolls our friends got were pretty good. Service was great there, it was packed with locals, it’s a very popular place. I would recommend it, if your a sushi lover and the prices are reasonable
