Great breakfast and customer service
I went in on a Tuesday at around 8:10am. I was greeted by a friendly woman who ended up being my server.
I ordered the veggie omelet minus cheese but add avocado, country potatoes, and a small (but amazing) bowl of mixed fruit.
The food was excellent.
I would definitely go back.

The portions are large here. The sourdough cheeseburger was good, the onion rings were okay. My friend ordered the veggie scramble and it came with a huge pancake! She liked her scramble and the pancake was good too.

This is by far my favorite breakfast place in Lodi. The pancakes are absolutely delicious and addictive. Omelettes and potatos are my go too as well. Staff is amazing as well. Our server bis always so incredibly kind and lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant.. we might actually pop in today depending on our schedule

Small mom n pop restaurant. Very nice settings. First time for our family. We had a party of 7 ppl. I was worried they won’t have enough room due to the pictures. Well they were able to put 2 tables together to make it fit us. Good thing it wasn’t too busy. The employee was super nice and constantly check on us. My kids and I were super shocked at the size of the pancakes. We could of shared the pancakes because it was that big but order extra side of meat choice & egg. The parking lots isn’t so big. Looks like it fits about 12 cars but you can park across the street which has more parkings. They have a small outdoor dining place as well. Oh remember to check their House Daily Special Menu on the chalk board on the wall. We didn’t noticed it until after we had already ordered.

First time coming here. Clean and great service! Had the sourdough burger with onion rings. My boys had the chicken strips and a chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasty. Those onion rings are really good!! I wish they had a club sandwich on their menu but that is my only complaint.

Update: we went back! The French Dip was absolutely one of the BEST I have ever had! Incredible! The service was great too! I wish it was a bigger place with better parking though. We had a table next to us of about 8.. they took up the entire lot! They left when we did amd every lady drove a car.. for 1 table. So that made it look busier than it was. Even though every table was full.

Cal Al’s is a family favorite. Consistently good diner food with excellent service. Ordered the cheese steak and my friends split the crispy chicken salad.
