Went on thanksgiving day afternoon, the whole place was a chaos due to the amount of people being there. Understood that it was not easy handing a holiday. Food was good enough, but we had to wait 30 mins to get a table.

Food has been changing in taste. I loved their meatloaf before now it has a smoke taste. For someone allergic to certain trees I have to be careful of smokes. Other things have changed also. Catfish is usually so hard. Chocolate pie now has Carmel. For some this might be great for someone that likes the old flavors not so good.

Had a very nice meal of fish, popcorn shrimp, cole slaw, seafood salad, chicken livers, and collard greens. Koshonda, hope I spelt your name right, you made sure our meal was an enjoyable one. Coffee was especially good, both cups. Tea was fantastic. Desert was bread pudding and it was awesome. The whole meal was seasoned just like homemade. Every bite was delicious. Very nice clean place. Very reasonable price. Love going here and highly recommend to all. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating. This place has the smell of good food. Can’t wait to visit again Visited again today, had the fish, popcorn shrimp, fries and onion rings with a big scoop of collards made to perfection. Tea was perfect with a couple cups of their great coffee. Desert was bread pudding. Will be looking forward to my next visit.

Everything was great! They ran out of sweet potatoes and cream potatoes & didnt get those refilled while we were there but thats the only negative comment our group had. Staff seemed friendly. Food was yummy as always. One group member wished for cottage cheese on salad bar, FYI GC. Overall, great job GC!

I wish their fish wasn’t so thick, but the salad bar is great. After 4:00 they serve steaks. They are sooooo good!! Best bread pudding ever!! I could eat the entire pan!! The chicken is ALWAYS dry..

This place has gone down hill. We ate here last night for what will likely be the last time. The lights were so glaringly bright I put my sunglasses on for comfort. The staff was playing loud salsa music from a Bluetooth speaker with a harsh base in the food prep area, which guaranteed a less than peaceful meal.
Much of the food was dry, dark and visably stale and uninviting. I have photos and video if anyone cares
The one redeeming feature was a great host and waiter named Juan. Thank you Juan.
