I found Bodacious Pizza and Grill by accident because you would certainly miss it unless you were looking for it. It’s a very casual little place located in the Aragona Shopping Center across the street from The Krispy Kreme on Virginia Beach boulevard. I was there just after opening so there was no crowd and plenty of seating available. The first big surprise was the outstanding offering of vegetarian and vegan options for main courses and desserts. They’re extremely helpful and described how they could make pretty much anything as a vegetarian or vegan option. They cook all of their food to order and will make your meal any way you want it. I enjoyed my first vegetarian smashburger and it was fresh hot and delicious. It’s counter service but you can order ahead for a quick pickup. I’m definitely going back.

To preface, I’ve never left a bad review anywhere. We ordered two chicken caprese sandwiches for pickup, and when we got back and looked at them they were covered in mayo, without any description online that mayo would be added, no allergen description, and no place online to deselect it when ordering. The sandwich also had no greens and very little cheese, all things I feel associate with caprese sandwiches. The restaurant was also closed by the time we got back home, so we couldn’t call to fix it. Never heard of a caprese sandwich having mayo on it – confusing

Have been here before and the food was never stellar but being vegan they are one of few restaurants with options. Previous visits the waitstaff was nice and friendly. Today there was either the owner or the cook who ice grilled me when I entered. When he came to the counter I said hello and smiled because people sometimes need to see you friendly before they’re friendly, even though that should not be the case when you’re serving the public. To my friendly hello I got a ‘ what can I get you’ in return. Not good customer service at all. If the owner is reading these, your customers matter! And are what keep you in business.
Also they charge extra for everything. Previously I ve paid with no problem but not for rude service. Will definitely not be returning.

I just tried the pizza for the first time. It was delicious and I would know – we eat a lot of pizza since it’s one of the few things my kids will eat. The 2 slices & drink for $7 special is a good deal too. I will definitely be back, and maybe bring it home for the kids next time.

The absolute best pizza and best staff! We have going here since Covid and now spend nearly every holiday and special occasion at Bodacious. Their food is truly out of this world and everyone we bring thinks the same- something for everyone, including amazing vegan options and an affordable kids menu!

Loved it. The staff here were very very welcoming, warm and friendly. My food came out very fast and hot. The salad was crisp and fresh, I could tell they made it fresh. The garlic knots (free with the salad) were some of the best I’ve had! The pizza was very delicious also with a fresh sauce. They have a rather large selection of desserts as well. I did not try them but they looked great. Highly recommended!

My kids have lactose intolerances. This makes ordering takeout limited in our selection. Their vegan options made it a breeze. My husband and myself enjoyed the traditional dairy options in our entrees. My kids have already asked if we could go back. We will definitely be coming back.

Overall it wasn’t terrible, they wanted an up charge for mustard, Who charges for mustard???? a first for me, we ordered pizza, wings, basket of fries , a cannoli, and slice of lemon cake ..
