This is a great authentic southern restaurant. We got off SR-520 looking for a quick bite. Stopped here because it looked quiet, and we had not heard of Goolsby’s before. I am glad we stopped! We really enjoyed the food and the people. They are generous and friendly. As a bonus, they are listening to a local Christian radio station.

Great place for home style southern cuisine. The chicken renders were the biggest I have ever seen and everything else was authentic and very well done. It was a little chilly in there, but I’ll deal with it. Super value for what I received. Highly recommended for this kind of cuisine!
