We stopped at Costa Deli with our two sons for lunch on a Monday. We were in the area, wanted to eat local and desperate to avoid the usual fast food chains. I always check reviews and pics before eating anywhere. The reviews seemed decent and pics good. The place is small but actually just right. We loved the original bar stools for bar seating. The menu is just right; large enough to have something for everyone but nothing unnecessary. Our one son considers himself a cheesesteak connoisseur so he went with that. The other got a turkey hoagie. The turkey was the real deal sliced fresh turkey…not slimy lunch meat. Both ordered milkshakes. They thought the food was excellent and loved the milkshakes! IYKYK…kids can be extremely picky! So for them to rave and ask to come back, it’s GOOD. I got the roast pork with sharp provolone and roasted peppers. Trust me when I tell you this is a simple sandwich but can be horrible in the wrong hands. Costa’s was fantastic! My husband went classic Italian hoagie. We swapped halves and I thought the Italian was equally delicious! Quality meats, fresh vegetables and perfect oil/vinegar. Their fries were great. There is a small grocery section with some really good finds and a nice selection of DiBruno products. They had some great cheeses for a cheese board, nice pastas (fresh and dry). The staff were very nice, quick service and quality prep. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend stopping in!

I went this morning to get a breakfast sandwich (bacon egg and cheese on a kaiser) on the way to school and when I tell you it was the best decision ever. I went in and was welcomed by the NICEST people ever. So friendly and it felt like such a community. They were so personable and the environment was great! I then went to eat my breakfast sandwich (one of my favorite foods EVER- I’m an expert on this). It was hands down the BEST SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. AMAZING!!! Cant. wait to go back- highly recommend!!!!!

Came here for the first time. I ordered the cheesesteak and milkshake. Vet cool family owned business with vintage arcade games. Dave was nice and B who makes the milkshakes does a good job

In Philly from AZ on a biz trip, and went out walking, looking for a real deal cheesesteak.

First time at Costas. Owner was very nice and friendly. Went there for a good south philly pork sandwich. What I got was horrible. I ordered 3 pork sandwiches and there wasn’t enough meat to make one decent sandwich. It was like eating a dry roll with some roasted peppers, no flavor at all. Extremely disappointing.

Check this place out! It’s a small local deli. Ran by the same family for multiple generations and they clearly know what they’re doing. It’s very unique. I would recommend getting an Italian hoagie here, that’s what I had and it was absolutely amazing! They also make milk shakes and have an assortment of home made pastas you can take home. Kid friendly, large table in the back if you want to sit down and they even have arcade games. The staff was super friendly, made excellent recommendations and even told some pretty funny jokes. Seriously, if you haven’t been here, check it out!

In the Philly area traveling for work. I saw this little deli and stop for a quick bite of lunch. Was able to meet the owner sitting here at the table and the ladies behind the counter were so friendly. They made me THE BEST cheese steak sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. If you ever come through this area, you have to stop at Costa Deli!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! I won’t go anywhere else for deli foods and especially for work catering orders. The quality and taste is excellent – hoagies, cookies, just all of it! I really value having this place so close. Very lucky!

This is our first time here. My son is home visiting from the army. We stopped by on our way through the neighborhood.
The place is a cozy little nook. Good place to come in and eat, the decor is nice, Bathroom was clean the staff friendly. But. . They were out of food (no big deal they’re busy) we order something else. Food comes and they completely forgot and did not make half the order. We ordered the easiest things, texas dogs w/ potato salad. Cheesesteak and fries. They were friendly and apologize. The food was ok.my son did not like the cheesesteak. Nothing to write home to mom about. I would try them again if I’m ever in the area again to see if this was a one off.
