We visited Guilford during the weekend and it was nice. Nice town. We tried this spot for lunch which is great. Food is good. Service is food but ambiance is amazing. We actually sat outside since it’s a nice weather. Not a big fan of the garlic bread knots but the food we ordered is good

Absolutely delicious food! Customer service was “okay”- but in their defense they were extremely busy. Took at least 30+ minutes to get bread and oil. Took a long time for dinner and our final rounds of drinks. Honestly- they were SO busy! Everywhere is short staffed and when we had service- our waitress was on point! I will definitely try them again! Food was DELICIOUS, however I wish service was a bit better and faster! 5 stars if so! Food was 100% 5 stars!

It truly pains me to write this review, as this has long been one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, our experience last night was deeply disappointing.

We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and were seated in the lounge/bar area around 5:30 p.m., hoping to enjoy the tapas menu, which I understand ends at 6 p.m. However, we sat for nearly 30 minutes without anyone approaching our table—not even to take a drink order (we tried to get their attention with no success). Yes, the restaurant was busy, but we watched both servers actively attending to nearby tables and then chatting behind the bar while we continued to wait.

We politely asked two bussers(who at least served us water) if they could let the floor manager or person in charge know, and we saw them do so. Unfortunately, the manager glanced in our direction but made no effort to address the situation. After waiting until 6 p.m., we left without ever being acknowledged. It genuinely felt as though we were being ignored until the tapas service had ended.

This isn’t the first disappointing experience we’ve had recently. On a prior visit, the bartender was noticeably short and abrasive despite our patience and courtesy. And during another dinner, I was served a mussel that tasted so off I had to excuse myself. Still, we decided to give the restaurant another chance—but sadly, last night confirmed that the quality of service has declined.

I typically prefer to address these issues in person, but since our concerns were disregarded at the time, I felt compelled to share this here. I’m truly sorry to say that we won’t be returning, nor can I recommend this restaurant for future gatherings or company events.

I hope this review encourages management to take a closer look at service consistency and staff attentiveness, as experiences like this can quickly diminish what was once a trusted favorite.

First time and disappointed. The menu looked good and the food was average. There was a huge party wrapping up in the back room. Our waitress rarely checked in with us. The staff was tending to the baby shower that ended. Everyone seemed grumpy. Maybe they were overstaffed? So many workers but hardly any service for our table. The salad was like 5 pieces of lettuce. Will never go back.

This was by far, some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Most of us had the surf and turf which composed of 2 filet mignon, a larg lobster tail, and vegetables. The garlic knots were just the right amount of soft and crunch, with a dip that compliments them perfectly. The artichoke hearts were done in a way I’ve never seen, but they were as delicious as they were beautiful. Lastly, the tiramisu was large, fluffy, and delicious where the coffee flavor didn’t overpower the creme.

While it wasn’t a cheap dinner. I believe it was worth every penny. They make you feel welcome, are really kind and attentive, and work with you on every taste, allergy, and description of what you’re looking at.

Absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is located in a historic building and the dining room exudes lots of ambience and character. The service is 100% on point. Water and bread were brought to the table upon us being seated and refilled without asking. The staff really hustled on a busy Friday night and excelled at customer service. The food was terrific. The portions were large and the entrees were plated beautifully. This was my first time eating at Quattro’s and I will definitely be back!

All dishes were served hot and full of great flavors. We started with complimentary bread, garlic knots and a dipping sauce made of oil, garlic and cilantro (amazing combination of flavors) Wow, we loved it. The garlic knots were light and not oily. For appetizers we tried the escargot special which was a different presentation then we have had in the past. It was served with mushrooms, red peppers, and garlic cream sauce. We also enjoyed the bruschetta served on thick slices of chewy(in a good way) bread . Our main meals all were very large portions. The chicken Salentino is not on the current menu but they happily accommodated making it. Another special we had was seafood Telefono and it had lots of lobster, shrimp and lobster served over Fettuccine noodles. The Fettuccine noodles are some of the best we’ve ever had in any Italian restaurant. The Chicken Parmesan was a typical preparation- the breading was a bit thick but delicious. We enjoyed talking to our server Gustavo. They were very very very busy on a Sunday night after Thanksgiving so the wait times were a bit longer than usual. The staff was all working very hard, especially the busboy.

Quattro’s is an excellent Italian restaurant. They also offer tapas, brunch on Sundays and a happy hour menu. We like to go in the summer and sit outside on the sidewalk under the trees. It’s a nice spot with some great food.

The inside is good as well and they can open the windows/door in the front during nice weather. We have also been here for larger events where the staff have been able to handle a large party and treated us all very well.

Good Italian American food at a good price. I had artichoke salad which was good but served frigid, too cold and so lacked flavor. Main course of chicken Milanese did the job and more. And a pretty good cheesecake to finish. Wine list was a bit narrow but ok. Service was warm and friendly. We dined early and the place was packed.

Food was very nice along with professional service. Every other Thursday, there is live music that can get a bit loud, but it’s only those days. Don’t expect your requests to be fulfilled instantly, as it gets busy around 6.
