Reviews
We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and were seated in the lounge/bar area around 5:30 p.m., hoping to enjoy the tapas menu, which I understand ends at 6 p.m. However, we sat for nearly 30 minutes without anyone approaching our table—not even to take a drink order (we tried to get their attention with no success). Yes, the restaurant was busy, but we watched both servers actively attending to nearby tables and then chatting behind the bar while we continued to wait.
We politely asked two bussers(who at least served us water) if they could let the floor manager or person in charge know, and we saw them do so. Unfortunately, the manager glanced in our direction but made no effort to address the situation. After waiting until 6 p.m., we left without ever being acknowledged. It genuinely felt as though we were being ignored until the tapas service had ended.
This isn’t the first disappointing experience we’ve had recently. On a prior visit, the bartender was noticeably short and abrasive despite our patience and courtesy. And during another dinner, I was served a mussel that tasted so off I had to excuse myself. Still, we decided to give the restaurant another chance—but sadly, last night confirmed that the quality of service has declined.
I typically prefer to address these issues in person, but since our concerns were disregarded at the time, I felt compelled to share this here. I’m truly sorry to say that we won’t be returning, nor can I recommend this restaurant for future gatherings or company events.
I hope this review encourages management to take a closer look at service consistency and staff attentiveness, as experiences like this can quickly diminish what was once a trusted favorite.
While it wasn’t a cheap dinner. I believe it was worth every penny. They make you feel welcome, are really kind and attentive, and work with you on every taste, allergy, and description of what you’re looking at.
The inside is good as well and they can open the windows/door in the front during nice weather. We have also been here for larger events where the staff have been able to handle a large party and treated us all very well.
