The food was spectacular best I’ve had in a long time.
Our server Olivia she goes by Liv deserves at least 10 Stars. She was very pleasant and humorous as well. Excellent server. She is definitely diamond class whenever it comes servers.

When I return there I am going to specifically ask for her tables. She was that much of a delight.

The restaurant itself and the food is a hidden gem in Gaffney. If you haven’t been there yet, Go you won’t regret it.

If you’re on 85 near Gaffney looking for a good place to stop, you have to get to P.Y.Ts.
Gaffney is a no nonsense small town in northern SC. I’m up the road at Kings Mountain State Park. I just went to Gaffney because it has the closest Planet Fitness.
I feel lucky to find P.Y.Ts on a Wednesday night. I had the Hawaiian Chicken with rice and it was delicious. And Wednesday is half off the wine, so a glass of Merlot went perfectly.
I parked right out front, and I was the only one at the bar until a couple of locals came in and had a lovely conversation with the bartender.
Quiet, good food, good conversation. What more can you ask for, especially if you’re traveling, or looking for your new local hangout. A he right downtown just waiting to be found.

The place is a little tight but the food was good, the service was good & the decor was pretty darn cool too. Me and the missus will go back again if we are ever in Gaffney again. Great steaks! The only real critique I have of the place is that it was just too dim in there. I could barely see the menu and I had to use the flash on my phone to take these pictures. Check out the picture I took without the flash for a idea of just how dim it was.

My wife and I have been here several times and it has been great each time. The place is quite dim and has limited seating, so not good for parties of 8+. They do have 4 tables outside, which is where we ate this time. I seem to get the ribs almost every time since they are so tasty. The salads were nice as they had real bacon. My wife got the sirloin steak and she enjoyed it. We took some home, and they were fine even the next day. A great small town place to check out.

Had a great Friday night at P.Y.T.’S !
Definitely recommend this to locals and those passing through! Lots of people but wasn’t “loud & annoying”. Had lovely outdoor seating. Bartender was great ! The Owner is very nice! The steak was amazing! My chips and salsa were very good! Different taste to the salsa, more of a sweeter taste too! Loads of things on the menu for all to try! Definitely go out and check out Gaffneys hidden gem!!!

They were not busy at all when we went out to eat. They had to put two tables together for our party. The staff was extremely nice. The food was good but a little pricy. I will be eating there again.

The Chicken dip was a bit watery for my taste, but still satisfied. Same with the potatoes. I had the ribeye which was cooked to perfection and my friend had the ribs. Both were good. They won’t sit you down unless the whole party is there, but from what I saw, the locals get special treatment with that rule. While I was waiting for my friend, three tables got that special treatment. Hence, the 3 on service . The waiter knew his dishes too. Small venue.

Our first visit tonight. Not sure what to expect but I’m glad we went. As far as the I’m concerned the place could be a bit brighter but that is my only complaint. We ordered the Salmon and the Beef Tips. Both dishes we’re served hot and presented in basic way on the plate. Our sides were the mashed sweet potatoes and broccoli. The Salmon was cooked perfect, the mashed sweet potatoes nicely sweet with just a hint of cinnamon. Beef tips we’re cooked exactly as ordered and tender. The broccoli could be cut with a fork. Our food was flavored very well and we left not feeling overly full which, is a good feeling for us. I give it a strong four stars and it would be five if it was a bit brighter and had WiFi. I suggest you stop in and enjoy yourself. There was a bit of a wait at 600 pm on Saturday expect that unless you want to eat at the bar and we did that. Nice polite staff and service was great. UPDATE: I went back with my family and was not disappointed. A lot of times new places open and are really good only to let the newness wear off and have problems. PYT did not let me down. We were there on a Thursday and there was a small wait. If it’s good then people will come and wait to eat. Good eatery in downtown Gaffney. ANOTHER UPDATE: Family went again and again our meal was great. Packed house, so much so the six of us had to sit at the bar. I am attaching pic of the special that night (3 filet medallions with 4 shrimp on a bed of Cajun spice Alfredo sauce), a rack of ribs with a skewer of shrimp and a ribeye. The only draw back I see here is the size of the place. Small and cozy so get there early. We went this time on Wednesday night and it was packed. Go ahead and try it.

Hostess ignored us, but finally got us seated. Waitress was the best, she saved the night. So even though I was pretty agitated from being ignored, she was too nice and made things better. I got fish and shrimp and the shrimp was great! The loaded mashed potatoes were OK, not hot enough to melt the cheese, but OK. The fish… advertised as better than the fish camp, but it wasn’t. It was heavy, oily, not crispy, not a lot of seasoning.. but was edible. So with the poor service to start and the OK food.. the atmosphere and the server made it all OK. And I’ll give them another shot.

We heard about this place a few different times and decided to come with family who were in town visiting. The wait was minimal, as we arrived after 7. The atmosphere definitely felt like more of a bar than anything. It felt like the grill component was an afterthought as there were lots of unclean, messy tables and servers seemed surprised when we asked for things like drink refills and knives for our food. Most things were priced well, but my filet was cooked poorly. I’ve never had a dry filet until this visit. The rest of our party was happy with their food, so hopefully my steak was a rare occurrence. The wait staff seemed awkward and rushed us through the whole experience. This visit didn’t live up to the hype, sadly.
