I was going to get on here and complain about how slow it was as we are all in a hurry anymore. But while waiting for my food I watch the waitress work her butt off. The once the food came, best tasting eggs, bacon and hash browns I’ve had. Not over or under cooked, over seasoned just perfect. Highly recommend taking the time to stop and eat here if traveling through area.

Large portions, perfectly seasoned and great service. We came to B&J’s after a basketball game this weekend to get a quick bite before heading home and that was by far the largest chicken fried steak I’ve ever received in regard to portions. The flavor was exceptional, the breading was perfect and the side of mashed potatoes and country gravy was on par with Lazlo’s. My daughter had the pot roast and it was absolutely amazing. Tender, juicy with the right amount of beef gravy to top it off. Everything else at the table including the wings were spot on. These are the kind of restaurants we search for. Phenomenal job, we’ll be back.

Great food I go there with my daughter in the mornings they service and they have buffet on Sundays very family-friendly. Great place to stop in if you’re in the area or live close by. They have a very generous kids menu and all you can eat buffet on Sunday you can’t beat.

The service was excellent. The young woman that served us was great! That must have been hard to achieve because some scruffy, dirty looking man, who obviously worked there, kept riding her. The food was good, not great. The cook got the eggs wrong and forgot the toast. The salad was crispy. The chicken fried steak was tough and hard to chew, but good flavor. The gravy was overly salty. The pancakes were wonderful.

B&J’s is an exception in todays limited selection of breakfast spots. A staple for the small community of Syracuse and a destination for souls like me seeking a great home cooked breakfast. Food quality is superb, the me us is somewhat limited but contains all the staples. They offer an all you can eT breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings at a crazy low price of $7.99 one plate pass or $13.99 for unlimited. All the staples plus a nice selection of fruit. Off street parking makes for an easy spot to park. I dinged the atmosphere some just as it felt tight with all the folks present and small kids can be a bit loud at times. Great place to grab a friend and venture out for a drive and a meal.

After a long appointment in Syracuse, NE, we stumbled upon this gem, and let me tell you, the food never fails to impress—it’s consistently more than amazing! It’s like the culinary equivalent of a perfect prescription: it always hits the spot.

We decided to take a little road trip and went to Syracuse and had lunch. Our server, Maria, was excellent! She was extremely efficient and provided quick service. She enthusiastically recommended the food. We had the special, fish and chips, which she let us know was hand battered, in house. I actually changed my order once she told us more about it. I loved every bite!
The owner checked on us to see about our experience and that was refreshing!
Not sure when we will get back, but it’s definitely worth a road trip!
