Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to enjoy a meal here. First time visit with family that raved about. We sat down and were greeted by a young lady who asked for our drink order. I proceeded to ask her about breakfast and instead of saying, ‘I’m sorry I couldn’t hear you’ or ‘May you please repeat that’ it was ‘I can’t hear you’. Which I immediately was confused by the attitude, behind it, I responded much louder with the breakfast question. Come to find out they charge a dollar more for breakfast after 11 AM. I understand that, that’s fine, the young lady was rude, did not express any apologies. She came back later with the breakfast menu for my son-in-law. My family ordered, I did not. I will not spend my hard-earned money at a place that does not have servers who are willing to put their attitudes aside for their guests. If you had a wonderful time there , that’s wonderfu. I did not , I will not be returning for any reason.

I would give them 4.5 if I could . what stopped me from a 5 was the length of time it took for our meal to come to the table . We started off with the Crab dip , and it was pretty good . I got the RIBS and my wife got the Chicken Chesapeake. I have to say they were good . The ribs were fall off the bone and for me there not done if they don’t fall off the bone . My wife said the Chicken was pretty good . What I was impressed with was the serving size , it was very very generous for sure . We both brought some home for a second meal. They were busy for sure so the length of time for our food to arrive doesn’t bother me a whole lot for our first time here . I do very much appreciate the fact that they do a Military discount . Thank you for a nice dinner ! We will be back again soon!

I open the door and greated by name. My waitstaff all know what I like. I enjoy venturing into the specials to try new thing and never disappointed. The chef. Noah, has a unique talent to create and prepare delicious meals and at a great price. I feel welcomed. I don’t cook for myself much since retirement after losing my family from an accident,so enjoying the great food here is like nourishment for my body and soul.

What a hidden gem. Great home-cooked meals…large portions. Service was great. Very clean. I couldn’t decide but chose turkey dinner. We also purchased beef dinner and haddock dinner. Cannot wait to try more.

The Family Table Restaurant did an outstanding job catering our wedding! The food was absolutely delicious—our guests are still raving about it! We served brisket, Chesapeake chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and salad, and every single dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The brisket was tender, the chicken was packed with flavor, and the mac and cheese was pure comfort food heaven.
Beyond the amazing food, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were professional, friendly, and attentive to our guests, making sure everyone was taken care of. Their service was seamless and added such a warm, welcoming touch to our reception.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Made a reservation for four and waited a little OVER an hour until we finally got seated at 5:05, but in the back corner with NO room. So with a combination of making a useless reservation, cold food, sweltering hot bathrooms and sitting at a table with no room to the point where a chair had to be added, and all they offered us was taking ONE buffet off of a bill with five people, completely ridiculous, and will NOT be coming back!!!!!!!!

Very good restaurant with a very good variety of food. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The Chesapeake fries were great! Also a decent variety of desserts. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Ordered hot roast beef over stuffing with mashed potatoes, side macaroni & cheese.
Roast beef was overcooked, dry and salty, the stuffing was salty too, looked as though it was just mixed together without cooking. The gravy was brown and flavorless, mashed potatoes were instant. Marconi & cheese leftover with a slice of American cheese microwave on top. There wasn’t any heat in dinning area, they were waiting on repair person so it was freezing inside. I will not return or recommend.

Eat sleep And repeat
Service and food was great. But the noisy-unsupervised kids in the restaurant was a terrible experience. Also need to address the slamming front door. I’ll defer until thing are corrected.
