It was a great experience. The gentleman who took my order was polite and friendly! The wait was less than 5 minutes, granted I got a taco plate and extra taco but still haha. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. It was exactly what I wanted!

I had not been to this Salsa Fresh in a couple years due to a past negative experience, but the place seems so busy that I decided to give them another try. Bad decision! Every aspect of my experience was disappointing. First, the place is dirty and run down. The floors were unclean and most of the tables were dirty even though it was slow and the 3 women behind the counter were standing around chatting and laughing. The furniture is old and dilapidated. After trying 2 booths which were falling apart, we opted for a wobbly table. I ordered a bowl which was skimpy and cold (peppers and onions were almost raw). And the prices were crazy high. This used to be one of our go-tos, but they have drastically gone downhill over the years. Would not recommend!

This restaurant is one of my favorite Mexican grills. The food is always delicious. The queso and salsas are fantastic. My go-to is the chicken quesadilla. It comes with chips, guacamole, and pico. The atmosphere could be better, but I don’t care because I love their food. This grill is a must-try if you visit or live in the area.

Salsa Fresh serves some of the best Mexican food money can buy, regardless of price. The flavours jump, dance and sing off the plate into your mouth. And the value is off the charts! Burrito, taco and quesadilla meals (which include tortilla chips and a visit to the salsa bar) are about $8. The portion sizes are excellent. If your bank account is a bit low, ask for a cup of water and save some cash.
Good selection of vegetarian dishes, and plenty of meat based dishes.
However, be aware this is a very casual restaurant – order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Our first time here. Great reviews. We all ordered the bowls. You pick your protein then what goes in it. You fill out a sheet with your choices then have a seat and they will bring it to you. Great flavors

I love Salsa Fresh, always have always will and is why this is 2 stars and not 1, but this is an honest review in hopes it supports some quick fixes and positive growth. This location needs a deep, deep cleaning. The floors are sticky and gross, it has an unwelcoming musk to the air, and its overall in need of some TLC. Probably why the sanitation score is down a bit. It seems like it’s been years since it’s had a professional clean. Also, the staff today created a very unwelcoming feeling. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re a burden to someone taking your order and making your food just by being there. Interrupting them sitting at a table. Then to come and drop the food to the table and say nothing just walk away. It honestly can almost ruin your appetite. The food was still decent, but it felt lazy and the guacamole and some of the salsa didnt seem “fresh”, and a bit old. All this goes against the very name of your business that I’ve supported and promoted for over 15 years. The duraleigh location used to give me some of the same concerns (gotten a little better there) so this location was always my favorite to drive out to, but today was very much a let down. I hope to update this review in due time to see that the place was cleaned and touched up cosmetically and just more welcoming. Get it together, or I won’t be coming back and will warn others of the same. Please! Clean it up.

This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but we have ordered from here for years. The food is always freshly prepared. We usually get burritos and they are very filling. I love their salsa bar, which is complementary with any order. Their tortilla chips are among my favorite!

The details i could give about this place; but ill keep it bare bones, the food was below average, i got a burrito which offered no substance at all, the guac was old, salsa was empty at the bar, and the remains i could pick through were unexpectedly bad, service was poor and should be fully trained before working at a restaurant. A 94 on sanitation is a big red flag. Anyone who has stories about this place being good was on something new entirely. All I have to say about the atmosphere is that it was so disgusting, it smelled like I was eating in a bathroom. I will not be coming here ever again, nor will I ever recommend it. I’m not looking for any handouts, as I’m unsure if the owner looks at reviews, I just want to get this through. This is a poor establishment.

I didn’t actually eat there but ate next door at the amazing Sasool Mediterranean. I went to salsa fresh to look for some delicious fresh salsa but when I walked by the customers eating outdoors all they had were those horribly annoying tiny plastic cups filled with different kinds of salsa. When I eat salsa I eat salsa. Eating salsa out of those little plastic cups is the most annoying thing in the world and for a place called salsa fresh they should not be gatekeeping the salsa like that. Give me a bunch of fresh salsa and I’ll give you some money. Just sad

We placed a last minute catering order for one of our lunch and learns for a group of 15 people – Russ & his team at Salsa Fresh were able to accommodate our requests and made the catering process so smooth! I asked if we could have the food ready 45 minutes after they opened, and not only was the food ready, but it was neatly packaged ready for me to load it in my car without any issues. The food and service here is awesome!
